Went 5-1 on the road and lost my two home games to Boston/Toronto by a combined 70 points.  Road wins included the Heat, Blazers and Clippers.  Go figure.

Billups was good in Baron's place (injured in the first game of the sim and out til the last one).  Tobey was the top scorer of the sim for me and Mehta struggled half the time, except of course for blocks.

2-4 sim, will be without Melo for four days and we have three games in that four days.  Armando Thompson needs to step up and score some points.

3-2 sim....kept me tied at top of the west.  One more light sim (only 3 games) before the second half of the season where I play 26 games in first 30 days.

Only goal is to stay healthy and maybe an all-star appearance or two.  Although the balance on my team might hurt the chances of my players being recognized.

5-4 sim, Hoffa POTW 10, he works better as 2nd option but Freeman doesnt so it really doesnt matter who's 1 or 2
....remained at #2 in West and #1 in Pacific.

Started with 2 unacceptable losses, at Bucks at home and West poorest team the Sonics.Hoffa dropped 38/20 but D was poor.
Telf had a great 20/8 6stl perfomance also vs Sonics. Got my revenge in Seattle tough but by only 1pt.

....battle for #1 continues......

Eh...Started off well with two wins against the Heat and Suns. Robinson came pretty damn close to recording the SSBA's first ever quadruple-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 8 steals and 7 assists. A blowout of the Knicks came between two losses to the Jazz. Finished the sim by being destroyed by the Bulls, so 3-3 overall. My team is not playing up to par, thanks to these poor offensive performances. I may change to a fast pace...

a good 6-2 sim for me. I can't remember when was the last time my team has the best record in the league, maybe its because it has never happened before. :D

Loss only 6 points to the Hornets! yes! Last time we faced each other, my team loss by 48 points. :D

Barner, Fuqua and Tyler did a great job rebounding for my team. While Donta Smith did a great job as my 2nd scoring option.

Hopefully, my team can continue playing at this level.

a 5-1 sim for the Hawks is impressive.  With a few changes in the gameplan it was a great sim.  Isaac McCraken with a triple double in the same game that Dwayne scores 48.  Also my rookie Michael Thompson was fairly impressive in his starting role alongside Maggette.

:lol2: I should have let start Lenard earlier
He was clearly the best man in the last sim for my team.

Avg as a starter 25pts 6rebs 3ass and over 2stls while shooting 51% from the field 50% from outside and 83% from the line
Best part was he did all that will playing against some real great talent like LB, Deng and AK.
Not only did he outscore them. He also managed to defend them pretty well allowing only 38% from the field amd an even better 29% from outside. Bods would call that stats amazing  :lmao:

never understood why you traded for Lenard only to keep him on the bench. But at least he's young enough to still make some noise now.

but back from the former to the real Celtics:

another 5-3 sim, but at least a winning one.
Road wins over Spurs and Bucks make me happy, a home loss to the post-playoff Wiz clearly not. But i never had an easy time with them, no matter who plays there. Maybe some curse or so.

Tried Marion at PG this sim and brought Trump from the bench, starting Schabi next to Dirk. Well, actually it was fine.
Shawn got 29/6/6 with just 3 TOs, but of course his defense isn't what it used to be. Still, nobody really can defend him there and that numbers would make a lot of teams happy. Schabinger did nothing spectacular offensively, but held most opponents down (noble exception: Wolkowyski). Dirk was a disappointment though. No, i don't expect him to go for 30/10 anymore (19/7 are fine with me), but when his opponents average 23/8/4 on 53% then we will lose some games.

This Matrix experiment did show me other positives too: Trump even bettered his average to 15ppg on 48% as backup, just his playmaking is missed then. Del Negro played a fine backup to Dirk. His numbers were low (4/2/2 on 58% in 12mpg) but his opponents, including some quality guys (Lavar, Jonas, Prince, Gaylor), only got 2ppg on 36% as well.

Can't wait to welcome Sampson back from injury next sim (who played one game all season) to see how my complete frontcourt does, and PG Reed will also see some action when he returns. As for the AllStar weekend, only the Matrix can be booked for sure, maybe Julius gets a shot in the Rookie game, but who cares for that anyway ...

...

Oops, just realized his opponents had 12/4/9 and 3 TOs themselves on 43%, so maybe he has some D left after all
