Title: New Feature - View Unread PM's Post by: NetsGM on August 07, 2006, 01:23:29 PM SMF didn't come with any way of knowing whether or not the person you sent a PM to has read the PM. So....I coded it myself.
It's ugly. It's not perfect. But it works (I think). When you go to the forum index, there's a link next to 'Rosters - Unread Posts - Unread Replies' called 'Unread PM's'. Click on this link and it should show you the PM's you've sent that the recipient hasn't read. Click on the + next to the recipients name and it will show the body of the message you sent. It's sorted so that the last sent message is on top. As always, let me know of any bugs. Is there any way to delete the messages from the list? All of the ones on my list are from the old NuggetsGM or old BullsGM. And I doubt that they will be read any time soon. I added that on my lunch break. Now there is an 'ignore' link next to each unread message. If you wish, you can click to ignore the status on that PM (meaning it won't show up on your unread PM's page). If you go to Outbox, then select the checkbox next to the PM, then delete, if the guy hasn't read it yet, then he never gets it. I'll send you a PM now and delete it from my outbox, to see if you still get it.
