and has there EVER been a GM making more out of his cap space in CONSECUTIVE drafts than the SUNS ???

First KIRK and now ANDRE STOCKER, argueably the two TOP available guys in both drafts, apart from the 34+ generation .
What a great job, Mr. C.

We have another team over the cap.  Bucks join Clippers in the 110mil and over club.

Thanks,
I'm very happy to land Stocker, but until I do something with the players I have it really dosent mean much if i'm bringing in good players in FA.FA's never move and in the past two FA periods i've landed 2 good players. I have some good talent and a good core so hopefully I can make something good happen this season.

I didn't even offer him a contract.  His ratings are solid but he doesn't play like it.

Shut out.  God this team could be horrible.

I am not stuck in a catch-22.  Do I overpay the rest of the FA class?  Or do I just suck it up for another year, keeping my salary cap space?

I keep getting "The page cannot be found" on my explorer when I try to enter FA bids for day 2.  Anyone having this problem?

I am happy to get McCraken, a big, defensive point guard to back up Dawson.  Now all I have to do is fill out my roster and the Hawks are set to maybe have a playoff shot in the next season

Ward will be a decent back-up and insurance in case Tinley get injured...
And I might play him at SG, he has the skills for it.

Stocker, Roan, and Hinrich are the core of a nice team...

thank god Telf re-signed, and Bird as well, i would be completely screwed without Telf....i didnt want to trade my main players to get a replacement PG like Telf, so i had to max out the contract and get him back, and im very glad i did it.

This must have been the highest pay roll of any team in the history of any team of any sim leagues EVER.

5 players with 91.042.594 million total, an average salary of 18.3 million.
4 players (if you take out Collison who is not worth a penny, not to mention 5.4 mil) worth 85.642.594, avg. sal of 21.4
million.

Average age of players: 33.5 y.o

amazing, im wondering how great ZLOVRO will pull this off, the rebuilding process.

Bucks are the perfect reason to use 'max' with caution.  He could have given Davis 1 year, 18 million (who doesn't think he would have taken that) and not been over the hard cap.

What's to wonder? Trade them for exp, tank a year or two ( :) , get a lotto pick, and sign several role or big time FA's. That's it.

i agree, but still how many GM's will be willing to take 35 year olds with 20-25 million contracts still, not to mention hard cap rule and only few teams can really offer expiring contracts of 20 million, they need to ship at least 3,4,5 players for 1 granny :P

.....however if you have 330 league $$$ so i take 2 years of contract......i'll be glad to ship you two 22 million expirings :P  :bods:

what happened to some gms here?
lakers signed their Pg to a max contract after drafting a qualtiy PG????  :bash:

Kings think anyone will take 20+ mill and give up picks too?  :lol2:

And best part is the bucks sign of a 1 year max offer to guy who isnĀ“t worth half the price.  :lmao:

I really like the way suns are working with their capspace.

I'm  pretty happy with day 1!

Jason Terry for the MLE gives me an excellent backup at the PG/SG position.

Udonis Haslem is back, the contract is big but for one year, he got 12.6 and 7.1 from the SF spot last year... He'll do...

James Posey provides some reasonable depth at the 3 also.

Factor in not doing the math and forgetting about the hard cap and you have what happened to me.

Oh well.
