i'm well aware how big Griffin played for me at PF, so Strait better rush with his development.
Until then I believe Sampson/Boozer can give me more than Griffin/Boozer.

And JdN is a nice scoring option from the bench, at a reasonable contract.

Everything to milk the last years out of Matrix (thanks man, for NOT retiring !!!)

It's big, it's 2 years long only and it's exactly $300 away from expiring NOW.
If on top of this the guy can play too, I call that resonable ...

you missed you will pay him almost 15mill (3rd best payed player on your team) for sitting on the IL this year and you already plan to spend money to cut his second year..  :bash:
he is way overpaid and everyone who ever had him will tell you he is also pretty worthless  :lol2:
where is the reaonable here?  :screwy:

I'd rather have a $15 million expiring deal than a $3 million expiring deal.

... says the GM who is master of keepin huge expirings for useless players on his roster (Kobe, JoeJ, Collier anyone?).

No, my friend, I get a REAL center here with an unbelievable nice salary and basically exchange Stockton for JdN, who's younger, more offensive minded, similar on D, and will have a nice big expiring next season. Nothing wrong with that imho ...

this deal is even for both teams, IMO.
