Sonics cut Devin Brown to make the deal work.

I did this trade to get Swift....he's a center who will be able to rebound and defend in the future....he's insurance in case I don't get Tanner....

Well, if you get Tanner and have Swift, you may have the Tallest center combination in the league.
Then pick up Sean Bradley...  You could play the tallest lineup in the league

Wow, you are not kidding...  Those 2 picks next year should help, though...  You might hope that Tanner is taken... :)

Wow, great trade Sonics!!

Swift is okay, but that big contract (like a first rounder) just isnt worth a future pick, IMO.

I don't think Swift is much of a prospect, so Seattle wins out here.

Obvioulsy I disagree with your analysis, but I respect it as you 2 are proven to be good GM's, but I think that looking around the league, a lot of C+ rebounders can average 8-9 a game and hopefully he improves enough to be a 10/10/2 kind of guy in a starting role, probably wasn't to get a superstar with that pick anyway so why not  get a potential good role player now...plus I got the Suns 2008 in another deal to replace the future pick
