I do this mainly because I have no depth and its been killing me. My starting lineup is now set and i'll have foster backing up at C, Traylor backing up at Pf, a combination of my starters backing up at sf, bailey snow backing up at sg, and Carter backingup at at Pg. So as you can see my depth isnt great but its much much better than before. Now I can go win that championship!

Also important is Carter who may end up as my starting pg next season when Williams and snow are likely to leave. Rashard is still a good player but i need the depth much more.

I'm really interested to see how this AK at SG is going to work.  I personally think you've set yourself up for disaster.  You're essentially starting 4 PF's in your starting lineup (Robertson at C, Zach at PF, KMart at SF, AK at SG), none of which can shoot from the outside.  I really think you needed to lose both Shard (who I never liked at SG) and KMart, get a SG, and put AK at SF.

But we'll see.

I definitally see your concern there. I have and have had one of the better shooting percentages in the league for the past few years so i'm not to concerned about outside shooting as much. My team also made it to the conference finals last year by starting what was also essentially 4 pf's anyways and I see kirilenko as a huge addition. Sure they are all playing out of position but I don't see it as a big deal. Only time will tell.

bad deal, Lewis is far better than anything you got in return, so you didn't exactly improve your title chances here. Foster? c'mon, be serious. He's a rebounder and average defender only now.

And i don't really see why the Suns did it. Carter may not be the answer but he's young and talented. Plus they are loaded in the backcourt with Kirk, Roan, Drew, have a similar player in Q and with the extra salary they are out of any free agency moves next season too. They give up little but just gain a good SF for 2 seasons and lose cap space.

and furthermore, why do it NOW, Grizz ? They didn't even play one sim with AK & Lewis yet remodel a team without any glaring need.
