Title: Sim 4 Up Post by: NetsGM on June 11, 2006, 12:03:27 AM After struggling against some top teams so far this year, it was nice to get wins over the Raptors and Hornets this sim.
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: RaptorsGM on June 11, 2006, 12:05:28 AM Liar!

Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: NetsGM on June 11, 2006, 12:08:41 AM He just doesn't see Emeka's Triple Double (http://ssba.phillyarena.net/boxes/40-8.html)
:lmao: Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: RaptorsGM on June 11, 2006, 12:10:40 AM Well it works now.
Anyway, after having a phenomenl day of sims on THurs (6-0 here, 5-2 in DJSL, won my 2nd round series in my other league) I have since gone 2-4 last DJSL sim, and now 3-4 here. Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: GoldenStateGM on June 11, 2006, 12:28:00 AM Well, with my players back from injury, it made a big difference.
4-2, with wins over the Grizzlies and the Raptors. Jim Finley has been great since the start of the season, and is one of the major reasons this team can compete. And Jamal Tinsley is thrilled to be finally given the reigns of a team. Must be getting away from all that bad coaching in Sacramento that has helped Tinsely... he keeps on telling everyone the GM there is a certifiable nutcase  Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: HeatGM on June 11, 2006, 02:22:22 AM a nice 4-2... :D shultz is shooting horribly...but i still have trust in this lineup...hopefully shutlz would bounce back...
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: PacersGM on June 11, 2006, 05:06:36 AM pretty funny sim
artest come back from an injury to lead this team to a 11-0 run with some 20+pts games only to go down for another 30+ injury after 2 losses against powerhouse nets and a bitter loss to the not so mighty celtics.... :bash: after that cole took over again and the team finsihed the sim with nice wins over Celtics, Magic and 50+ blowout of the knicks. Harris is an incredible shooter.. sadly his teacher was john paxson... just take a shot if you are sure you canĀ“t miss... :lol2: Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: KingsGM-old on June 11, 2006, 08:51:05 AM Another powerfull sim, went 7-2. Again lost against the Blazers and Clippers, they just have my number.
Some of the highlights; *120-104 W vs the Pistons; Dirk 39 and 10, Tmac 36 and 5, Bibby 12pts, 11rpg and 5rebs led the way. *96-89 W vs the Jazz; Dirk went for 37,5,12 and Paul Gasol with 12pts and 13rebs. *102-100 W vs the Suns; Dirk and Tmac combined for 69pts for a tight win. *104-96 W vs Grizzlies; Mcgrady exploded for 42pts, 7as and 8rebs *113-100 W vs the Warriors; Dirk again showed no mercy as he exploded for 49pts and 14rebs. Bibby followed nicely with 7pts, 15as and 6rebs. 21-8 overall, 2nd best overall in the entire league, tied with the Clippers. Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: KingsGM-old on June 11, 2006, 08:59:15 AM Thsi has to be the sickest scoring race ever with 6 guys over 30ppg and Dirk with 33ppg only at 4th place.
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: KnicksGM-old2 on June 11, 2006, 10:36:22 AM WOW I took over a bad team.
Rebuilding...... Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: BlazersGM on June 11, 2006, 10:45:21 AM best ever sim for me, even team played without Buehler 4 games but finally i can call this
a TEAM, falling behind 1 game now for #1 spot in West.Clement is definitely the man that changed this team. lets take a look at this 7-2 perfomance by mighty Blazers who outscored opponents by 7.5ppg. Hoffa a 26.4ppg/14.3rpg...Telf 16ppg/9.8apg/2.6spg and,... THE MAN Clement 14.4ppg/6.7rpg/4.3apg/1.6spg. +4 @Nuggs...Hoffa another great night 27/21, Clement is the man this season 15/9/4. +20 vs Sonics...a really nice win...Hoffa fantastic 51/16, Telf 38/14 5stl, Clement another Iggy alike performance. +15 @Sonics...another win, Hoffa 39/23, Telf 18/9 4stl...Sonics just dont have solution for those 2. +8 vs Kings...i just keep beating Kings last two seasons. Hoffa fouled out but still managed to post 23/6/12, Telf 22/7/7 3stl, Clement 14/10 2stl +14 vs Raps...Hoffa 28/16, Clement 18/4/5, Buehler back with 15/7 4blk, Telf 12/13 2stl. +10 @Spurs...Clement led with 22/5/9 3stl...Hoffa in just 29 mins 19/7, Telf 15/12 4stl. -13 vs Mavs...7 game winning streak came to the end, Lebron couldnt stop Clement but neither Clement did Lebron...Clement finished with 23/7/4 1stl, Hoffa 16/15, Telf had a bad night just 9/4/8 2stl on 20% FG shooting. -13 @Celtics...there came Celts revenge, Hoffa was good offensively 29, but poor defensively just 6 rebs 2blk, allowing just too much for Celtcs front.Buehler added 13/11, Clement continuosly great, Telf 9/12 1stl on miserable 4/17 shooting. +9 vs Spurs...finished with a win...Hoffa droped 26/13 4blk, Telf 14/8 2stl, Bosh 12/11 4blk and Clement a standard all round perfomance 12/6/11 1stl on 50% FG. Let's continue to play good. Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: NetsGM on June 11, 2006, 10:46:39 AM Look at Steven Schmaltz with 27 ppg on nearly 51% shooting. Wow.
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: BlazersGM on June 11, 2006, 11:07:32 AM thats a suprise indeed
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: CavsGM on June 11, 2006, 12:42:14 PM A decent 5-4 sim for the Cavs. Adams played great, averaging 19, 10, and 3. Gomes also racked up two triple doubles in the sim. He would be a pretty damn complete PG if he could just freakin shoot.
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: JazzGM-old on June 11, 2006, 01:25:47 PM jazz go 3-5 under the shadow of major changes coming in the organization. Jameer Nelson is now avging 23 ppg, i would have never imagined that when I first got him. Shooting 48% from 3 while being among the league leaders in 3 point attempts. His numbers are a little overshadowed by his 4.3 TOpg....but he's going to turn the ball over anyway, as long as he's producing in other areas i'll have to live with it. Basically this season i'm living and dying by the three becuase that's where my strengths lie right now. i'll get some rebounding with Rivera and some inside presence with Mihm, but this is definately a team in transition and aside from spoiling some teams out of seeding or even playoffs, don't look for too much from the Jazz this year. Meyers is producing just as good as Hughes, with better shooting percentages including a league 2nd ft%.
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: MavsGM on June 11, 2006, 03:02:01 PM Just what I needed Hump out for 57 days. :bash:. Let's see what Mr. Baylor can do at PF.
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: CelticsGM on June 11, 2006, 04:15:57 PM He just doesn't see Emeka's Triple Double (http://ssba.phillyarena.net/boxes/40-8.html) :lmao: If there has ever been a statement game this was it. Forget what I posted about the Raptors, they came down to earth ... ... and a bitter loss to the not so mighty celtics.... :bash: after that cole took over again and the team finsihed the sim with nice wins over Celtics, Magic and 50+ blowout of the knicks. Agreed, that Knicks win was special since you were leading by 58 (107-49) after 3 quarters, well on your way to a new league record !!! But let's talk Celtics: Can't believe I lost to the Pacers at HOME after winning both road games from them earlier. An off-night from just about everyone. Trump got a chance to start PG (with Julius moving to backup) and did pretty well. I knew that he could score since he started already in 2013 but it looks like he can also direct a team of stars. He will never average 10apg but with my fine team passing I might not need that. Otherwise nothing to get mad about. A very nice payback to the Heat (from last playoffs), and wins over teams i should beat. 2nd best point differential in the league. But not a tough schedule so far. Now the real challenge for Atlantic Division supremacy awaits with Nets and Magic coming next sim. 8) Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: MagicGM on June 12, 2006, 08:12:21 AM not a bad sim for me. got burned down on my sf position. but everything went good.
Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: SixersGM on June 12, 2006, 09:45:38 AM Goudin, my only replacement frontcourt player after the injury of Fuqua, went down this sim. Goudin showed glimpse of his College days where he was compared to "Primo Brezec." He's scoring and rebounding was solid even with limited minutes.
With two of my key frontcourt players got injured, I tweaked my line-up next sim. Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: CelticsGM on June 12, 2006, 11:03:08 AM ... Goudin showed glimpse of his College days where he was compared to "Primo Brezec." ... You mean he's a poor man's Primoz Brezec then ? :lmao: sorry, couldn't resist ... 8) Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: SixersGM on June 12, 2006, 11:16:20 AM ... And im laughing at him also.. NP Title: Re: Sim 4 Up Post by: Str8westcoasta on June 13, 2006, 12:06:14 PM Another decent sim for me going 5-3
We still have a winning record of 18-15 and we're topping the Mid-west!!! Barton O'Connell, J-Rich and Abdur-Rahim are complementing eachother excellently. Haslem is giving me excellent numbers of 13ppg and 6rpg at the SF position and Frank Hyatt is contributing a solid 10ppg off the bench in only 24 minutes... ~RocketsGM |
