Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on March 01, 2005, 05:59:29 PM It's up.
The check-in is also up. I'll have to e-mail GrizzliesGM about his activity. http://ssba.phillyarena.net/files/check-in.htm Went 2-6. Which is good. But one of the two teams I beat is the Hawks, the only team with a worse winning percentage than me :( Boozer's set to come back. Good and bad. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: SunsGM on March 01, 2005, 06:04:33 PM went 4-2 after my big trade for Kobe.
Hopefully theres one more push for me to sneak into the playoffs. if not i managed to keep my first round pick this year, and am still looking to move it for a center. so keep it in mind, Standing offer to anyone out there: my first this year, and in 08 for a SOLID,QUALITY(notice the bold print) Center. pm me with any interest! Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: RaptorsGM on March 01, 2005, 06:28:13 PM Nice went 5-3, back in a playoff spot!!
Celtics must have had a decent sim, which is disapointing for me. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: Keith on March 01, 2005, 06:52:23 PM Went 4-2 again so no complaints there.
My only current problem is Garnetts going to be out for a game against the Rockets. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on March 01, 2005, 06:53:41 PM FIRST PLACE PACIFIC!!! :D
SECOND IN WESTERN CONFERENCE! - the rockets are next to fall!! went 6-3, expected more. 2 point lost to phoenix. other than that - fine, we're in right direction: TITLE ps. tmac/bibby - the most deadly combo in the league  :D Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: Str8westcoasta on March 01, 2005, 06:55:52 PM 6-2
A hard to swallow 1 point loss to Utah!! The only person that can stop the Rockets winning ways, is the Rockets... or a swift elbow to Yao's eye socket... :o Title: Re: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: Str8westcoasta on March 01, 2005, 06:59:35 PM Quote from: NetsGM It's up. I have a few PM's wating in my out box for him.
Anyway, an update on the Raptors 4 picks: 18th, 15th, 8th, 5th. And as always, I'm looking to package the 18th and 15th picks for a higher pick. As for the Raptors - why was Ervin Johnson cut?? He had games of: 8 and 10 19 and 10 17 and 14 That's pretty damn amazing. I have been slighty disapointed with Marcus Banks. I really though he could come in and be a 7 and 7 guy. He did have a big game of 16 pts against the heat. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on March 01, 2005, 07:14:47 PM As for the Raptors - why was Ervin Johnson cut?? He had games of:

Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on March 01, 2005, 07:29:57 PM I've e-mailed 3 guys about the pacers spot, none of them have responded yet.
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: RaptorsGM on March 01, 2005, 07:31:11 PM Oh well, hopefully they do soon.
Anyway, damnit nets, would you start winning? Just when the Lakers go 1-6 or something, you decide to do terrible and hold on to the number one pick slot. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: BullsGM-old on March 01, 2005, 09:08:46 PM I really have to start tanking...
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: Anonymous on March 01, 2005, 09:24:58 PM I went 4-4 this week. Kind of disapointing, but faced some top notch teams in The Heat (twice) and Mavs. Right now I'm the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference.
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: HawksGM on March 01, 2005, 10:30:05 PM Another bad sim, got the worst winning % right now which is good to be in that top spot race.....I think that if I stuck w/a lineup my team could be a much better team but i keep switching it up because there's no point in trying to win now.....i want that top spot...Darko has been very impressive this past sim, lately he's been around a 15/8 player which is great because he should improve this off season.....Al Harrington, Darko and Strom should be a nice inside punch for years to come...I'm liking my upside at the moment...JR Smith has had flashes of brilliance lately but also had spots of bad times....my #1 pick isn't up for trade until after I see the draft order....
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: Iverson2Korver43 on March 01, 2005, 11:41:33 PM Had a decent sim 4-0... Can't complain about that... I think i've finally found the right settings for my team... And It's looking more and more like I am going to stick with the players i got for the rest of the season, BUT i am still very willing to look at any offers :D ...
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: SixersGM on March 02, 2005, 02:40:52 AM One of my worst sim in all the sim leagues i joined.
Cant believe that im having this mediocre performance by my players. And, surprise-surprise, im 9th place in the east. I hope AI's performance can give me dynasty points to buy a Team Doctor. THese Injuries are killing me. WAAAAHHHH!!!!! Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: SonicsGM on March 02, 2005, 03:01:28 AM Struggled in this sim. Brent Barry must have gone down for a few games...but he is healthy now.
Too many games on the road lately...it's been killing me. Let's get that top spot in the Pacific back. Francis had a number of good games... :D Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on March 02, 2005, 10:30:40 AM 4-3 in this sim, with nice wins over thr Rockets and the Jazz...
Currently holding the 6th spot in the playoff rankings, with a team that I thought might be good in two years... Going to give Collison the start in the next sim, he has played very well in extended minutes when Foyle went down. I cannot believe I have no players averaging over 20 ppg, and only one averaging over 13 ppg, and still have a winning record... Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: JazzGM-old on March 02, 2005, 01:18:19 PM The Jazz are back on track:
5-2 including a win over the Rockets. Moved from barely 8th in the conference to 6th in the conference and I finally found a rotation that works perfectly. In one game I had 7 players score double figures. Kirilenko is scoring more, and Jason Kidd is dishing the ball more. Just about everyone above me in the West has played more games and has a similar home win-loss record, I think despite my youth that I will continue to get better as the season moves on and when playoffs come I really feel I have a strong shot of going far. It could come down to just a difference in one game. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on March 02, 2005, 03:30:32 PM And even better, my Jazzy friend, it could get interesting...
Right now, the Warriors are 2-0 vs. the Jazz, both games being home wins. The Jazz host the Warriors in days 103 and 108... Those two games will be important in the playoff battle. Especially with Portland, Memphis, and Denver breathing down our necks... Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: MavsGM on March 02, 2005, 03:40:12 PM Two hard luck lost to the Rockets by two and Blazers by one.
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: CavsGM on March 02, 2005, 03:41:53 PM 6-4 over the last 10. Don't know whether to be happy about this or not, since my season is hopeless, and a higher draft pick would be better to have. But I was getting a little worried, because my team was playing very poorly, and it's not like I was tanking. So it's alright that they are playing better. But they don't need to play too well...
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: RaptorsGM on March 02, 2005, 04:12:53 PM Man, I don't understand how the nets have won ONE game this year. They are terrible.
In the game we just played, I beat them by 28. And Emeka dropped 32 and 15 on me. Their next highest scorer was 8 pts. Nets, you should have the best chance at the top pick. However, last version of SSBA saw no number one chance one the pick. It was always someone from 2-8 that won the lottery. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on March 02, 2005, 04:15:42 PM And, of course, it appears that possibly the best player in the draft is at the exact position of the Nets best player...
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: RaptorsGM on March 02, 2005, 04:17:43 PM Yeah, that 7'4 kid is out of this world. So I'll offer Vince to the Nets. :)
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on March 02, 2005, 04:23:55 PM Tanner is a hard working kid... lol
Vince to the Nets.. hmmm... Sounds familiar... (Scratches head) :D Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: RaptorsGM on March 02, 2005, 04:34:42 PM lol. He's not going for Eric Williams, Aaron Williams, Zo and a couple bad draft picks.
Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on March 02, 2005, 04:38:33 PM I know....
I was hoping to get Baron for Speedy and Davis, but the Hornets GM already killed that dream.. lol Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on March 02, 2005, 04:42:05 PM Raptors: Remember, Boozer was out that game as well. So my team's not THAT bad.
GoldenState: The best player in the draft is a center. In case you haven't noticed, I have a pretty good center myself.... Oh, so you're not THAT bad. :) Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on March 02, 2005, 04:47:22 PM But their does appear to be a player or two in the draft that can help you out, Nets... :)
I am just jealous I will not have a chance to draft him (or them)... Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: HornetsGM on March 02, 2005, 04:56:39 PM Quote from: GoldenStateGM I know.... Petit, Del Negro, Griffin, Diddle, Ellis, Mercer, Ferry. The draft is DEEP. I've got my targets, and while Houbergs will be nice, there are a few pretty dam ngood consolation prizes :) Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on March 02, 2005, 04:58:22 PM erm....I read his post wrong.
 And no, I didn't trade Boozer. Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: RaptorsGM on March 02, 2005, 05:19:37 PM Ah well, Boozer probaby would have doen all right against Ostertag, so I'm glad you didnt have him :)
Man, I wish we simmed EVERY night :) My trade talska re pretty well done, so I have nothing in SSBa that needs to be done except depth charts :) Title: Sim 9 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on March 02, 2005, 05:27:42 PM For some reason, it seems like the heavy trade activity was before sim 8. dunno why.
