Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: HawksGM on May 23, 2006, 11:25:51 PM I'm very happy to get Dwayne Wade, he can be a lock down defender on the wing for me. He will also put up some points as a 2nd or 3rd option depending on who else I can spend my money on. A few more pieces from being a decent defensive starting five, but Wade, Wooden and Holston are a start for my project.
Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: SixersGM on May 24, 2006, 12:33:43 AM Sixers is happy to sign another role player in Juan Ward. Juan Ward's scoring ability, versatility and youth would be a great fit for the sixers squad.

Juan Ward's scoring ability, versatility and youth would be a great fit for the sixers squad. jeroldesque move :DYikes :bash: I'd rather cut him rather than be compared to Jerold. Or maybe pay some undrafted player with that amount of money. Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on May 24, 2006, 01:16:58 AM got Nolan back. fine ... and necessary to keep my frontcourt honest.
and that's about it for the Celtics FA moves unless another trade frees a roster spot. man, is that boring ... :-( Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: HeatGM on May 24, 2006, 01:28:40 AM Sixers is happy to sign another role player in Juan Ward. Mind boggling Steven Hunter has a "play for winner" rating of 2 (!!!) and a "greed" rating of 1 (!!!!!)don't you even check stuff like that before you submit such hilarious posts ? :bash: :bash: :bash: Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: KingsGM-old on May 24, 2006, 07:43:42 AM I don't think there's a single player in the league that would play for less money for lesser team! What kinda logic is that?

What kinda logic is that? Wrong. There are a lot of guys taking less money to be star of a lesser team instead of riding the bench for a better team. Especially for a 1yr contract giving them the chance to make bigger money with better stats next season. And since I doubt you offered more than LLE this can hardly be called "mo money" ... :-) Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: RaptorsGM on May 24, 2006, 10:23:44 AM Still a good handful of players left out there, and only a few teams with cap space left.
Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: GoldenStateGM on May 24, 2006, 11:03:48 AM Well, with Rodya in the fold, I have number of average PG's on the squad... hopefully one of them will step up, and take the leading role...
Title: Re: Day 2 FA Results Post by: HornetsGM on May 24, 2006, 12:03:13 PM I set out to fill my backup pg spot, and now I have 5 pgs on my roster. Talk about overkill... :?
