I'm very happy to get Dwayne Wade, he can be a lock down defender on the wing for me.  He will also put up some points as a 2nd or 3rd option depending on who else I can spend my money on.  A few more pieces from being a decent defensive starting five, but Wade, Wooden and Holston are a start for my project.

Sixers is happy to sign another role player in Juan Ward. Juan Ward's scoring ability, versatility and youth would be a great fit for the sixers squad.

Yikes  :bash:

I'd rather cut him rather than be compared to Jerold. Or maybe pay some undrafted player with that amount of money.

got Nolan back. fine ... and necessary to keep my frontcourt honest.

and that's about it for the Celtics FA moves unless another trade frees a roster spot.
man, is that boring ...

Steven Hunter has a "play for winner" rating of 2 (!!!) and a "greed" rating of 1 (!!!!!)

don't you even check stuff like that before you submit such hilarious posts ?

I don't think there's a single player in the league that would play for less money for lesser team! What kinda logic is that?

Wrong.

There are a lot of guys taking less money to be star of a lesser team instead of riding the bench for a better team. Especially for a 1yr contract giving them the chance to make bigger money with better stats next season.

And since I doubt you offered more than LLE this can hardly be called "mo money" ...
:-)

Still a good handful of players left out there, and only a few teams with cap space left.

Well, with Rodya in the fold, I have number of average PG's on the squad...  hopefully one of them will step up, and take the leading role...

I set out to fill my backup pg spot, and now I have 5 pgs on my roster. Talk about overkill...  :?
