Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: NetsGM on March 06, 2006, 10:57:25 PM 6) Cavs - Stephan Sylvester (SF)
7) Rockets - Eddie Crawford (PG) 8.) Hawks - Sandy Watson (C) 9) Blazers - Stewart Tippett (C) 10) Bucks - Clayton Hansen (PF) Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: HawksGM on March 06, 2006, 11:01:45 PM I got Watson who I hope will improve and become a Dampier type player in a few TC's. As long as he can give me D and rebounding I'll be pleased.

Sure, he doesn't look like he will have any kind of offensive game anytime (or hit from the charity stripe for that matter) but he should be an interior presence, although a bit undersized. But that is the character of this draft. Projects, projects, projects ... 8) Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: MagicGM on March 07, 2006, 01:55:50 AM exactly :D A lot of Darko Milicic ;)
Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: SonicsGM on March 07, 2006, 02:09:35 AM I really like Sylvester, although I am surprised that he went that high. I figured that he may slip through the cracks and drop into the middle of the first round.
I'm not saying he isn't worth the sixth pick...I am merely saying that I thought he may slide. He looks like a Bruce Bowen type of a player...good defense/rebounding ... a very good role player. But he was BPA ... Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: Str8westcoasta on March 07, 2006, 04:59:23 AM I considered going with Watson at 7, but that would give me 4 Big guys with very similar ability. PG with A handle and A potential... maybe he will get some defense....
Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: HawksGM on March 07, 2006, 09:42:56 AM I really like Sylvester, but that's probably because I've had a SF who can't reound for anything the last few seasons.
Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: CavsGM on March 07, 2006, 10:03:51 AM I had trouble deciding between Sylvester and Hansen. Crawford may have been the best guy left, but I'm done with pointlessly stocking up on point guards. Sylvester is a guy that can really fill up a stat sheet. If he can develop his offense he could be a terrific guy off the bench. With some defense he can be a starter.
Title: 6th-10th picks of the first round Post by: BlazersGM on March 07, 2006, 10:44:59 AM dammit, all my 3 guys went first, but hopefully tippetts potential is true.
