We post the Gasol trade at the deadline, it doesn't work due to a 60 day on Bosh, and you tell me well wait and reevaulate it in the offseason.

I contacted you like 8 times before you finally responded and told me that you would NOT make any deals until after TC, that has always been your policy.

Then you trade away one of the most important parts of our deal. WTF?

Argh. Do I have the right to be totally pissed off here, or am I out of line? I spent so much damn time on this trade, at a point in the sim where trades are next to impossible.

Never did the BlazersGM give me the impression that he wasn't still interested in our trade, he just said he wanted to wait. Yesterday he finally contacts me and tells me that he NEVER makes a deal before TC, he thought I would have known that by now. Then he trades the pick.

If I'm out of line here, I'll shut up.

When i ment i wont make any deals, i ment trading players, picks i can trade whenever i want, players i never trade before TC.

And i see this deal as 2 low picks trading for another low pick next year, and well i did found 18 guys who i believe can be either possible starter in 2-3 seasons or a good bench player, and i really wanted to grab 2-3 players in this years draft, why ? i dont have to explain to any1  :lol:

Yes, you're out of line.

You cannot expect a GM to sit on his thumbs for nearly half of a sim season on a deal neither of you properly checked to make sure it works.  It's both parties responsibilities to fully check out a trade.  He cannot be forced to sit and do nothing to protect a trade that might not make sense to him anymore, and you have no right to force him to turn down other offers because a trade that was agreed to 6 sims ago is being waited on.

If you have to wait that long on a trade, the best you can do (IMO) is "if my situation hasn't changed, I'll revisit it when the time comes around".  You shouldn't have your hands tied because of it.

also when i traded for Hoffa (im not counting first sim because DC was messed up) i had a first winning sim in ages (last one i believe was sim 2 or even sim 1)...next year my pick will be around 20 if TC doesnt go disastrous and destroys the whole damn team.

....and yes, you contact me every PO or offseason and i tell you always that i dont make trades before TC, i guess you forget that fact, on my side however i should have told you that i ment Player trades only, picks can go anytime...and after TC our trade if Gasol will still be there and if ill be interested in the trade will look a bit different after the TC im sure, but lets wait and see, you can trade him of course whenever you want cause i cant guarantee ill do the deal involving him and steven.

Anytime a team wins 34 games his 1st rounder in the coming season is possible lottery. And by winning just 8 of your last 17 WITH Araujo you didn't that much of a different impression ...

The Blazers pick could go around the mid-to-late 1st rounder next season.

Telfair, Hoffa and Russell is a nice core.

did u read what i wrote after ? first sim i went disastrous because it was messed up DC because of Raps/Blaze trade that didnt go, then when i made my own DC i went on positive score for the first time since like sim 1 or 2, and if TC doesnt go disastrous, ill be in range of 43+ victorys next season.

but you have to agree that 43 wins are not that much of a cushion and that any major injury might drop you back to Secacus. Nothing more is what i stated ...

we-ll see, i just think i can get 3 nice backup players with the picks and next year they will be better, and maybe the draft will be even worse (i didnt find this one the worst in history).
