Title: Sim 9 discussion
Post by: ClippersGM-old on February 14, 2006, 03:44:22 PM
This is a good one to start with... the Magic DC

Quote from: MagicGM
just a 4-game sim. might as well try to see how this players will go.

C-Roseau/Brand/Woods
PF-Al Jefferson/Brand/Dwight
SF-Hollister/Solomon/hollister
SG-Agrobast/Solomon/Josh
PG-MangrumBrown/Brice

IR
Arroyo
Marquis
Profit

option:
Jefferson
Agrobast
Mangrum

pace: very fast
trap and pressure: often
focus: balance

Hahaha... you are playing bench players that you dont even know you had them on your team! You are like... "hey dude... get over here... you are starting tomorrow... whats your name again... abroblast..." "no coach, it is arbogast" "oh ok, agrobast, I will remember that, it is easy" :D

Seriously... how can you not know the names of the players on your team? :D

you're just intimidated by my bench ;)

and I don't give a fuck. ;)

bods, if you won't allow this, run it as same then.

I have some deals brewing so I'd like to see how they perform before they go.

btw, my bad, 3-game sim :D

It's not the fact that you are playing your bench that brought up the Clippers remarks.

It's the fact that you don't know how to spell the name of your bench player.

Roster = Arbogast
DC = Agrobast

What?

I had that problem for years with guys like Broerick Louissetti and some others. I think i still don't know how to spell his name.

It's not tanking if you are just showcasing them.

lol now one would acuse the magic of tanking even if the lost all remaining games they would have a real chance to stay in the POs.

I did not intend to accuse the Magic of tanking. Not at all!

Read what SpursGM had to say. He got it right!

Go Arcoblast!

Isn't that the sound system in the Kings Arena? Why is it allowed to play for the Magic then? And does he have some cowbells implemented which sound off each time he dunks?

We NEED to get some answers here ...

Raptors looking for a real, real good sim...

@ Sonics (9-21 at home) - expecting a win there
vs. Suns (10-20 on the road) - another win, hopefully
@ Cavs (12-13 at home) - should be a close game, hoping for a win
@ Rockets (11-11 at home) - again, looking for a win.
@ Magic (23-8 at home) - you'd be thinking loss, but I think I can beat the lineup they are throwing in there this sim.
vs. Bulls (19-12 at home) - toss up. Considering their decent record at home, I'd say this will be a loss.
@ Knicks (14-15 at home) - I don't matchup well against the Knicks, but I'm gonna say win here.
@ Celtics (20-11 at home) - a likely loss here.

So if my predictions are 100%, I go 6-2, which is exactly what I am after considering I play 6 road games this sim, where I am 13-12.

About the first time this season some good team actually predicts a loss to the Celtics (and while I know its a terrible understatement it's still nice to read ...)

Otherwise I expect a boring sim. 4 games only, 3 on the road to teams below me, and he mentioned date with Raptors. Could go 4-0 (highly unlikely), could go 0-4(more likely) - now that was some revelation. Important dates with the Wiz and Cavs for a playoff spot, so i better win some here.

I, as the holder of your draft pick, hope your prediction skills are as good as the Raptors claims his to be.   :)

i have a really easy sim +- but lots of games, if i can start with 2 road wins over Nuggs
and Sonics it should be a great sim, Heat at home is going down as well Pistons away,
Grizzlies away will be a close one i believe, then 2 more home wins over Suns and Wiz,
loss or win to Sonics again in Seattle, hopefully ill go 6-2 or 7-1 this sim and then its
time for some announcment.

actually looking at next sim makes me puke, i better go 8-0 this one cause next one will be
0-8 (realisticly 2-6 or 3-5), 6 road games and 2 at home (one to Nets)
