Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on February 12, 2006, 09:32:14 AM Damn Emeka and Dunleavy go down on the same day.
Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on February 12, 2006, 09:48:27 AM Dirk is flat out ridiculous. Just ridiculous.
Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: PacersGM on February 12, 2006, 10:11:18 AM 3-3 not bad without miller and JO... my depth chart was a mess after the injurys, so i can´t really complain since two losses came against nets and warriors. artest is having a career season :D
Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on February 12, 2006, 10:12:02 AM Nice.
Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on February 12, 2006, 10:50:57 AM Like in some un written rule, this team always come blazing after All Star break. Every year we start slow and then really strong finish and almost dominating in the second half of the season. Ok, i'll take that.
8-1 sim. Hoffa and Mcgrady just lifted their games to another level. * +19 against the the Cletics. Tmac one asist shy of triple double, 35pts, 9as and 10rebs, Hoffa 30pts, 5blocks (trade rumor made you nervous ha?!), 16rebs and Bibby with nice overall game, 15pts, 3steals, 8asists and 9rebs. Poor Celtics never had a chance. 8) * +23 vs the Raps. Mcgrady torched them with 42pts and Hoffa with his usual 34/16 performance. Bibby with 20/12. The guy is still top 4 or 5 pg in the league. * +8 vs the Jazz. Danny The Main Man Forston with 14pts and 16rebs off the bench. Off course Tmac went for 33pts and also 6as and 7rebs. Strong team play by the Jazz but it wasn't enough. * -34. Got slaughtered by the Nets. Hoffa with 38 & 12 but Tmac was completely shut down by the Pettit and rest of team didn't have fun as well. Clean loss. * +13 vs the Magic. Hoffa abused young Howard with 42pts my backourt of Tmac and Bibby combined for 44pts, 12asists and 12boards. * +13 and another W vs the Jazz. Tmac and Hoffa with their usual 30+ games and Tinsley was nice off the bench, 17pts, 4steals, 7asists and 4boards. Bibby with 23pts & 11asists to seal the W. * +17 vs the Wizards. Mcgardy with another great overall game as he went for 35pts, 7asists, 10boards. Tinsley 19pts and 6 rebs off the bench. * +36 against the Rockets without Hoffa. Mcgrady 40pts & 9rebs and in Hoffa's absence Danny picked up the slack, 20pts, 2blocks and 9rebs and Camby with his best game of the sim; 7pts, 3blocks and 16rebs. Nice collective effort. * + 8 against the those kids from Portland. Danny THE MAN Forston just abused them with 16pts and 22 boards. Old man showed the some tricks. Nesterovic! with 4pts, 3blocks and 9rebs contributed nicely as well. Only bad news is that Hoffa is out for the next 5 games but it won't have any bigger impact i think since i'm pretty much locked at #4. The Wolves are 3 games behind me and might catch us and i could end up as 5th but even without homecourt in the first rn i think i can get pass the Wolves. Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on February 12, 2006, 04:43:07 PM Strange sim for the Celtics.
First game, last without Lenard, was the expected loss to Kings (can't match their fire power without my leading scorer). Then came two fine wins over Clippers and Nets (the Emeka-breakdown-game), where i shot around 50%. Great for the confidence! Only i thought. Since following that came losses to Bulls, Cavs and Wiz where i didn't crack 85 pts or even 39% shooting once. What's even more puzzeling is that I held opponents to 40% shooting over the whole sim, yet i went 2-5. My offense has big problems currently, even when playing at full strength i played like crap. I still try to get a hold of my team, make i perform more steadily, but beating the top teams at least tells me i got the tools ... 8) Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on February 12, 2006, 04:48:51 PM Well, an excellent sim.
7-1, with an away loss to the Bulls. After mentioning Dirk has yet to win a player of the week award, he and Hinrich win them in back to back weeks... Woot!!! I love it when players get better after getting worse in TC. Dirk lost an outside shot in TC, and is playing th best ball of his already successful career... Dirk averaged 43 ppg this past sim  The Warriors outscored their opponents in the 4th quarter in every game... Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: SpursGM-old on February 12, 2006, 07:15:10 PM 3-3 sim...very inconsistent team right now. Not sure what the solution is but I am tired of tinkering with my settings and rotations. So maybe I will just ride the season out from here...but most likely not after another day or two to think about it.
Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: RaptorsGM on February 12, 2006, 10:17:26 PM 7-2 Sim for the Raptors, now just 1.5 games out of fourth and home court advantage.
Raptors 108 Hawks 96 -- My two headed Monster of Melo and Gasol combined for 61 points, 21 rebounds and 8 assists. Respectivly, Melo had 33, 10 and 5, whereas Gasol had 28, 11 and 3. Max added 17 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds. Kings 121 Raptors 98 -- Destroyed by the Kings at Arco. TMac dropped 42 on me, and Hoffa had 34 and 16. On the flip side, Melo had 27 and Max had 24 against his former team. Kings had 18 more rebounds than us. Raptors 103 Rockets 83 -- Getting back into the win column after the tough loss to the Kings. Melo dropped 35 to lead the way, on 13-24 shooting. Gasol had a monster game with 27 and 17. Held he rockets to just 36.8% from the floor. Pacers 119 Raptors 80 -- In a possible first round matchup, this was a ridiculous loss for me. Got destroyed by marion In the matchup of rebounding SGs. Pacers shot 52%, while I shot just 39%...ouch. Melo had a decent game, but everyone else dissappeared...POOR. Raptors 100 Bucks 97 -- Very tight game, with my +6 4th Q making the difference. Melo had 25 in a decent game, Gasol had 25 and Max had 20...making up 70% of my scoring. That's good to see. Raptors 105 Bulls 82 -- Spanked the Bulls due to the inferior quality of their GM... ;) Had 5 players in double figures, led by Melo's 29 and 10. Chills added 20 and 9, and Garcia had 11 and 11 off the bench. Amare scored 38...but took 38 shots, so that was good. Raptors 133 Grizz 112 -- Huge offensive game, shooting 55% from the floor, 50% from 3. Had FOUR players score 20+ points. Melo led the way with 33. Max flirted with a triple double netting 22, 10 and 8. Dickau dropped 20 off the bench, and Gasol also had 20. Chills had a great game with 14, 7 and 7. Had 37 assists in the game. Raptors 123 Hornets 94 -- Probably my best game of the season so far, a domintation of a top team. Yao dropped 35 and 13 on me, but Gasol and Melo each got 27. Dickau, starting in place of the injured Chills, had 23, 6 and 6. Also, getting 20 minutes of burn for the first time in a long time, JDn added 18 points on 7-8 shooting. Can't believe nobody wants this guy. Raptors 95 Nuggets 91 -- Total team defensive effort, as noone played that well on offence. Melo had 22 ad 7, Gasol had 20 and 10. Dickau also got 13 and 8. Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: MagicGM on February 13, 2006, 03:43:11 AM went 4-4 and went winless against the Heat. :D
Al Roseau showed his best game of his career with 24, 10 and 5 blocks. Dwight won his 1st POW award :D Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: HeatGM on February 13, 2006, 07:22:10 AM wow...a nice 6-0 sim...got some close games against nets and magic... scoring isnt a problem but defense is... surprisingly iv match up pretty well against this nets and magic... beat the magic 3 to 1 in the season series and the currenty 2-1 against nets...
Title: Sim 7 Discussion Post by: BullsGM-old on February 13, 2006, 08:54:59 AM This makes no sense, I went 6-2 (beating Cavs, Suns, Celtics, Warriors, Knicks, Pistons) using the same DC that I played brutal with in sims 6. I'll take it though.
