this has got to be my worst sim (6-3) this season.

Anyway, some highlights. Al Jefferson is making a strong case. He started the sim with a 26 and 13 performance (non-option). He later went on to a 12 and 10 perofrmance against the Rockets. 20 and 6 against the Heat. 18 and 9 against the Wiz. 18 and 8 against the Knicks. :D

btw, I can't stand any injuries :D hehe. worst sim without my primary pf backup -- David Hollister  :?

lost my first home game this year and marion
then also fisher went down.
again hold my opp to 91 this sim( 5 teams under 90 and still lost against two   )
artest continued his hot streak avg. this sim 22/6/4 with 2stls
JO had only 23/11/4 with his usual 2blks
marion missing most of this sim with 20/7/3

best game this sim against the hornets: 121 - 87
i played without marion and fisher
austin had 17/10/5 and hold jackson under control
foster and boozer outplayed Yao 29/11
foster with 14/9 and boozer with his best game so far as a pacer 23/10/7 and 5 stls
artest lead all with 31

two solid wins against the celtics( ok it was the usual blowout   ) and clippers finished this sim
some small changes for more depth are needed but overall i really like the play of my team

I still can't figure out what's wrong with my team. It definitely got talent, versatility and depth. But still, I can't find a way to win.

Celtics started of the sim with 4 convincing wins against the lesser teams only to run into one of the toughest parts of my schedule playing Clippers, Hornets, Pacers and Jazz (they ALWAYS gave me fits), losing all 4 equally convincingly.

Then came the real shocker, a 16pt loss to the Hawks allowing them to shoot 58%. That's not going to cut it here ...

And things don't get easier, with road contests against Hornets, Heat, Spurs and Blazers coming up as well as home dates with the Warriors and Raptors. So in order to get to the AllStar Break with a winning record we'll have to do a masterful job, team and management.

Pfff ....

7-2 sim. considering all injuries to brand, maggette and brown... a very good sim. good thing is that none of the injuries is serious.

happy to see very good minutes from backups brown, harrington, prince in the absence of injured players.

this were brown's stats in the absence of elton brand!
20p 6r
27p 13r 3s 3b
30p 7r 4b
26p 4r 5s 3b
12p 15r 2b
14p 8r in 26min

4-3 sim...about what I expected while trying to determine the best front court rotation after the trades.  Won a couple I didn't expect but lost a couple I expected to win.  I seem to be having big problems with the Eastern conference as I went 1-3 vs the east but 3-0 vs west.  For the season I am 2-9 vs east ( thank god for Detroit) and 10-10 vs west.

Game 5 Grizzlies 94-106 Lost after a big run by Grizz in last quarter.

Well....Got home from the Raptors game (they lost a heartbreaker), and see that my team went 3-2, just as I expected. However, I expected the losses to come as a result of my tough games against the Clippers and Hornets, but I beat the Hornets and lost to the Blazers....

Clippers 101 Raptors 88 -- Stymied by that tough defense of the Clipps. Kwame dropped 22 and 15 on Gasol. Childress did a nice job on Gordon, and Brand fouled out in 21 mintues...meaning I should have won this game. However we shot just 34.6%, which is waaaaay below average. Melo had 22, Gasol had 15 and 13....but nobody played anywhere close to their abilities.

Blazers 110 Raptors 105 -- Needed a good bounce back win, and couldn't get one. Unknown Sammy Mendez came off the Blazer bench in 14 minutes to score 11 points on 4-7 shooting including 3-4 from the arc. Gasol had 24 pts but only 6 rbs. Childress was the only double double of the night with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Raptors 125 Cavs 109 -- Good way to get back into the win colomn, against a decent team. Vince Keogan ripped apart Childress for 47 points, but we did a decent job on every other player and got a big win. Gasol led the way with 34 and 10, Melo chipped in 25 and 9...Max had 19 points 10 assists.

Raptors 92 Knicks 84 -- There's that defense that I was getting used to seeing. Gasol led the way again with 29 and 12 (and 5 blocks). Melo had just 18 points...what a terrible sim it was for him. Shot just 2 of 14 from 3...but held the Knicks to 4-21 from beyond.

Raptors 98 Hornets 96 -- Huge win. In Yao's first game against his former team, he was held to 17 points and 4 rebounds in only 21 minutes....alot of those minutes played by backup Garcia after Swift fouled out in 16. Gasol had 23 14 and 5 to lead the way. Melo added 21 against his former team.

How does this team go 3-4? Another sim like that and I'll have to rethink my team strategy... Ugh.

How does my team go 5-2?  I come home from a weekend in Pittsburgh and see that the Hawks go 5-2.  Everyone played their role this sim.  Am I expecting more sims like this?, no.  I think this might have been a one time thing but Charles Phelps played extremely well averaging: 18.7, 9, 3.7, 1.5.  He's been averaging roughly that for 2 sims.  His big game was 32 on Petit which I really liked.
