Ivan Strong. If he ever learns to defend consistently he could be the next Dirk. But on the other hand, if he puts up Dirk's numbers on O, who cares ...

Manu Ginobili. He's still a defensive Wiz and high% scorer. Great in rebounding and steals from any backcourt position. Expiring ...

Etan Thomas. A- A- doesn't lie.

Schabinger and Tower. Well, even those guys i put my future hopes on could be moved for a similar talented big man.

Others? Don't ask about Lenard, he's my only untouchable. Stromile? Probably. Booth? Hardly, unless some younger C comes along. Chauncey isn't likely to go anywhere.

And then there are those expirings. A similar player - not worse, mind you - with a longer contract could be exchanged for anyone but Chauncey if you look for cap space.


Is that all? No. Of course, I can't move all these guys, so for example if Ginobili moves Schabi is most likely to stay. Strong and Stro can only move for some frontcourt help. You get the picture ...
