It's up now (or mostly, still finishing uploading.

I went 2-6   A few more sims like that and I'll def have a top 5 pick.  I'm an injury away from top 3 definite.

Boozer and Emeka continue to amaze.  check out what they did against the bucks this sim.  Twice.

Emeka: 22.3 pts, 10.7 rebounds, 2.4 blocks
Boozer: 21.9 pts, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists.

Other than that, my team really sucks.  bad.

My team is on fire. I'm #1 seed in the East now...

Why isn't Shaq showing up in the league leaders?

KG finally missed out on a player of the week award. Duncan got the last 2.

In pleasant shock the Warriors ent 6-2 over ths last sim... I think I will be letting the computer choose strategy more often...

Don't have a single player with 20 ppg...  Only one with over 15 ppg, and just 4 players in double figures.

Just crazy....

I am #2 in the west, but I have been the hottest team in the conference.

Sonics look to take a stranglehold on the conference over the next few sims.

The move to a balanced offense (from an inside offense) has seen an increase in scoring now that Sheed and Barry have the opportunity to shoot the trey.

:( 6-3 during this sim. I was expecting a higher win-loss record.

But anyway, im glad to see TD back in action.  He's been playing like man-possessed (40pts 23rebs 14-15fts 3 steals) And he's the player of the week for two straight weeks.

Aside from tim duncan, my team is a disppointment on my part.

My team was one of the least in block shots and rebounds, considering that i already got 3 good frontcourt players in Tim Duncan, Malik Rose, and Skinner.

Clippers went 3-4. Not too bad considering Maggette (26pts 6rbs) went down with injury.

Yao is back and so are the Rockets!!!

Raptors went 2-2, and maintain their 6th worst record i the L.

Vince has been just fantastic this season for me, and Finley is scoring at will in very limited minutes.

Rafer's up to 12.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 7.9 apg for those of you looking for a PG.

He's only played in 13 games.

Per the wolves, Sow really did step up.  10 pts and 4 boards in 16 minutes/game?  Wow.

KG goes down and he does the following:
25/9/5
24/11/3
39/10/2/3/5
31/12
16/11/4
22/5

Dang, KG and Cassell both get injured for the Wolves too.  That's rough.

Pierce goes down.  Should make the race for the top pick more interesting.

another losing sim...I'm using this year to experiment at what positions guys can play, we'll see if Josh Smith can play the 2 and JR the 1...the emergence of Al Harrington in Josh Smith's absence was very promising...I think I'm going to keep Al around in case he improves after training camp, this kid can play...Allan Houston is so unpredictable, he had 14pts in 13 minutes and 17 in 23 off the bench but I'm not complaining about his contributions

don't get sarcastic and pissy because you don't know what you're doing.  We've done everything we could to try to educate people on the simulation.  I've spent hours on IM, answered hundreds of PM's.  We've had threads for beginners, and I've spent hours writing a league rules section.

You screwed up.  Try to deal with it like a mature adult.  Even though mostl likely you're not an adult.

Let me just agree with Nets here.  I'm a first-timer, and I've asked plenty of questions to try to figure things out.  While I now have a handle on the ratings, the whole pace/trap/press/focus areas have still got me baffled.  But I understand that there's a learning curve.  The first thing you need to do is realize that this sim has nothing to do with real life; the players' ratings can be pretty wacky, like saying Darrell Armstrong (who's 35 or 36) has B potential, yet a rookie like Arajuo has F potential.

What I'd suggest is downloading the actual FastBreak program and messing around with it.  That helped me tremendously, much more than anything else.

Focus is just where you want most of your plays to be run.  If you have a team, like me, that has their top 3 offensive options better at scoring in the post, you don't want them shooting 20 foot jumpers, and want them "focusing" on scoring inside in the paint.

Pace is just the tempo of the game.  If you have a young team and, most importantly, with a lot of depth (playing at a fast pace means players generally don't play as many minutes) you may want to push the tempo.  Again, if your primary options score in the post, you don't want to push the ball, as they'll never get set into scoring position.

Trap and Press are two things I've never really gotten a handle of myself.  I've generally just fiddled with them to see if it improves.

Obviously you're taking it quite seriously. You're screaming and venting about being in a playoff position.

It really has nothing to do with your knowledge of english (which is fine as far as i can tell)

it has more to do with your lack of knowledge about FBB, which is fine, considering you're new. You'll learn.

I expect you to have a learning curve.  let me be clear, i have no problem with people asking questions.  Please, do so.

Just don't bitch because you made a mistake and are losing.  Don't get mad at the sim.  I've been very accessible for questions.  We have probably 10-15 new gm's.  Me, Hornets and Raptors have been very helpful.
