Title: Raptors Deadline Block Post by: RaptorsGM on December 29, 2005, 10:23:11 AM Here is why you should be looking over my roster and PM'ing me:
Leo Sanders - Excellent numbers in such a small time, this kid has played amazing for me when Yao leaves games early due to foul trouble. Is a consitent rebounder and at age 23, could easily get better. As is now, he is a very good backup, and very cheap at that. With the 2nd year option, he should be easy to resign. Leocadio Garcia- Right now the kid looks like he could turn into a Chris Mihm, Mehmet Okur type player. An above average rebounder and shot blocker, if given starting minutes would likely average double digits in rebounds and over 2 blocks. Gets to the free throw line consitently. The 8th pick overall in last year's draft, this guy can be really good. Jamal Del Negro- Obviously has a big contract, and hasn't lived up to the expectations put on him. However one glance at his scoring abilities show you that he can be a good scorer when put in the right situation. (See: Telfair) JDN has the exact same offensive ratings as him, and the career percentages are close. However, this year, JDN is trying to play himself onto a better team, as he is shooting 52.9% from the field and an astonishing 54.5% from downtown. Every team that has no hope for cap space could use this kid, whether starting or off the bench. At just 25 years old, he is likely to continue to improve. Tayshaun Prince- A great backup for any team looking to make a push towards the playoffs. An A-/A- outside shot/defender, Prince has played fantastically when forced into a starting role due to injury. For example, in the 5 days Perry was injured 2 sims ago, Prince started in 4 games and posted: 12 and 18 rebounds, 8 points and 7 rebounds, 8 points and 6 rebounds, 8 points and 2 rebounds. In all of these games, he was able to play excellent defense on the opposing SF. Justin Bass- A young kid with some great scoring numbers, he comes as a cheap backup for those needing a second unit player that can fill it up. Can score inside and out, and is a good rebounder too. Micah Hunter- A player that has never been given the minutes he deserves in this league, given his ability to score. There is nothing to suggest that Hunter would put up less than 15ppg if placed in a starting role. With his B/B offense, he could be an option on most teams in this league. His C defense is not that great, but if protected by a good defending SF or PG, he could be the story for a team. Title: Raptors Deadline Block Post by: RaptorsGM on December 29, 2005, 09:49:59 PM As crazy as it sounds, Yao could be on his way out as early as tommorow.
For him I am getting back and elite level, all-star SG, 2 great defending big men, a great defending guard and a future pick. All of these players are 26 or under. If you think you have a comparable offer, better send it my way. Title: Raptors Deadline Block Post by: RaptorsGM on December 29, 2005, 09:53:03 PM Since it's Yao we are talking about, you can simply PM me and ask me "what would it take for me to beat the deal", and I will look over your roster and tell you.
Title: Raptors Deadline Block Post by: BlazersGM on December 29, 2005, 10:30:01 PM you know my/your offer stands, if Schultz is not in the deal that you offered and someone else is, we can proceed with talks, but he's not going anywhere.
Title: Raptors Deadline Block Post by: RaptorsGM on December 29, 2005, 10:31:27 PM The only reason I want to do any deal involving Yao is to get an elite level SG and some young starting quality bigs.
If there's no Shultz, there's no deal. Title: Raptors Deadline Block Post by: BlazersGM on December 29, 2005, 10:38:15 PM Ok then, sorry but Schultz is untouachable for now. Russell however is a great SG/SF and a fantastic shooter, he lacks defence tough only, if he was a better defender, he would be one of TOP SG's in the league for sure.
