Wow...  Tyler is the best big to come out in the draft so far.

It's a shame the rest of the class is not even close to his ability.

Last year we had a nice, deep draft.  There are a lot of players whom will be fighting out for the top C, or the top pg.  There could have been some mistakes, some sleepers.

This year, there's a superstar and a lot of mediocrity.

the drafts are different, and I like it.  Still a little pg deep, but overall much better.

Bah, both of my picks just became useless.

I disagree on the draft not being deep.  There are some interesting guys out there at all the positions.  There are certainly some guys who are going to be undervalued due to their FBB ratings, but there are some steals to be had, IMO, if you look closely at the FBCB ratings and use those as projections.

On the first glance, I can count only 17 players worth drafting.

You're damn lucky I didn't get the 2nd pick instead of the 3rd pick in that draft.

Oh, I'm just giving your a hard time.  Had I been in that spot I would have taken Mason Mercer for his "true" pg ability.  Oh, he would have annoyed the hell out of me.  The first 10 turnover game he had he would have been out th door.

and that was before Mason had that huge TC.  Can you imagine Mercer at 12 ppg with 5 turnovers per?  Lord.  I wanted him because I thought he could be a floor general.

But yeah, Tanner was a universal #1 pick.  Hawks, you, me, everyone would have taken him #1.  And he's turned out good, albeit flawed.

What's funny is that I was putting Pettit down before the draft.  I don't think anyone bought it, but I was saying how an undersized 2 guard with B defense couldn't be a franchise player without improvement.  But that was before the draft lottery.

There was nothing backhanded about lord.  I didn't make one comment before the draft.  Not a one.  I don't believe I commented about any player until after the picks were made, and it was intentional.  Lord was my sleeper whom I knew would be there when I drafted.  I was targetting him since the first FBCB sim (ask Wolves, I think I mentioned that I wanted either lutz gerstl or lincoln lord to him).

THat mock draft that you did had Arbogast ahead of Lord. They were both available at your pick.

well, i guess most of us look at FBCB potantial and there was NO WAY Bods would take Arbogast over Lord. Vito Ramsey is a different story, he's pretty close to Lord in potential, but if you give me a 5'9 and 6'5 PG with similar potential I wouldn't have to think that long ...

Lottery's going to be fun this year.  5 teams stuck at 36-46.  All of those teams can say "man, if I lost one more game, I'd have the 8th pick".  Guess we'll learn a thing or two about tiebreakers.

Would there ever have been a more heavily favorized team than a 66-win squad? I guess that tops Nuggets/Raptors, especially since Raptors where completely hit by surprise then, didn't take their matchup all too seriously. That won't happen again these days ...

Well, obviously, i'm thrilled with my Nets pick since they won only 66 games. That's not even the 70.

I always did want to win 73 just to beat the bulls.  Unfortunately if I win the title this year, that ain't gonna happen.

For the record, I think either the pacers or Warriors (if they make it out of the first round) beat me.  Marion and Dirk (especially with the way he's playing now) give me fits.

Well, i don't think the Kings are easy matchup for you either. I beat you in both games pretty easily, by 21 and 10. I know it's only a regular season, but still...

You just better hope the warriors lose, because if they don't you ain't making the finals.  They are on fire.

In the time he was with me, Marion usually played poorly in the series that eliminated me. He definitely didn't dominate Pettit last year; in fact, I think it was about even.
Marion choked with me; maybe the Pacers will have better luck with him.

Well, if I can get past the first round, it will be very interesting.
Oddly, The Warriors matchup better against the Clippers then the Nuggets.  Butler always kills me.

And of course, Really do not want to play the Grizz or the Kings.  Always have trouble with both of those teams.
