Title: Sim 3 Discussion
Post by: RaptorsGM on February 13, 2005, 08:38:31 PM
Raps went 1-5. Which from a business perspctive, I'm ok with. I'm not going to contend, so I might as well get a higher pick.

Dang, I never even finish uploading before you guys are discussing.

Anyway, boxscores for games 21-30 are viewable again.  Sorry for the confusion last week.

Anyway, I'm 7-7 now, which by my count is 7 wins too many.  I'm second in the league in opponents ppg.  Of course, 6 of my 7 wins have come at home, so there's still time for me to blow it.

Emeka is a beast.  21.4, 10.1, 3.4 assists and 2.4 bpg from a rookie.

Boozer's not far behind him at 21.3, 9.1 and 4.1.  That's great passing stats from my pf/c combo.  not to mention 43 ppg and 20 rpg.

BTW, Humphries is quietly putting up stats close to dwight howard level, even though he's playing out of position at my 3rd option.  14.9 pts, 6.6 assists, 52% shooting as an 18 year old (dwight's putting up 16.1 pts and 7.3 rebounds @ 40.6%).

That would make Humph:
#4 in rookie ppg.
#7 in rpg
#2 in fg%

Oh yeah, okafor is:
#1 in ppg
#1 in rpg
#3 in apg
#1 in spg
#1 in bpg
#5 in fg%

ROY?  Better be ;)

Only played 3 games that sim.  I whooped up on my last two opponents (beat the hornets 89-68 and Wizards 100-64.  Teams are averaging 66 ppg against me in my last 2).

I did pretty well that sim, now I am 10-10. My defense has stepped it up quite a bit. Replacing West with Andersen helped that I think.

BTW, the wolves have played 28 games in 30 days.

Yet they're winning at a 68% clip.

God KG's amazing.

Puts up 42/13/9.  Doesn't want to finish out the week quietly, so he puts up 39/14/7/2/2 3 days later.  Then 46/13/4/3.

and can somebody please tell me when the last time Kandi put up 35/14/4 in real life was?
http://ssba.phillyarena.net/boxes/28-8.html

KG/Kandi/Cassell might be the best 1-2-3 punch in the game right now.

Man, it seems like everytime I lose I get blown out.

Check out these 2 losses:

Twolves 125 Wiz 81
Nets 100 Wiz 64

I won too many games i went 3-4 again. Dywane Wade is inconsistent but thatll improve as hes getting used to the switch between the 2 and 1. I think thats why lebron is struggling. I just cant seem to edit my depth chart enough to where i lose games but still give the guys i want to keep enough playing time to stay.

 why bother to lose games? the draft preview isn't all that fantastic, and then you lose out on every free agent with a higher play for winner. which is alot of the better ones.

Yes but my thinking is if i DO make the playoffs itll be as an 8th seed. Then i get a 1st round exit and a middle pick. I have my eyes set on two guys in the draft that i want.

Sonics are atop of the Pacific division.

Barry didn't do much in his first go with the squad.  We are going to open it up a bit for him in the next sim.

Big Z - will definitely start for the West in the All-Star game.

How about two triple doubles in the same game?  Well, almost.  Day 23 against the Mavs, Andre Miller scores 20, dishes out 12 assists, and comes up one rebound short, while Camby goes for 14 and 12 with 11! blocks.

Despite ranking dead last in 3PT% on offense and oFT% on defense, Nuggets go 5-0 this sim (beating 3 current division leaders), drop another 4 points in the oPPG average, and now have a +5.2 net difference in PPG overall.

Very happy with this sim...  went 7-2, now 14-9 on the season...  team seems really balanced...  i currently have 6 players averaging double digits in points, and it seems like a different player is my high scorer every game...  Not much more i could ask for...

Terrible sim. Went 4-4

Yao Ming, Peja Stojakovic and Charlie Ward all went down injured. My recent trade with the Cavs should give me the depth in the frontcourt I desperately need.

Went 1-1 in this sim splitting games w/the Mavericks...Allan Houston came up big averaging 20 against the Mavs in his first start for the Hawks...Stom's #'s dropped way down with Al Harrington and Allan Houston in the lineup, we'll see next sim if this lineup is good

Haha. You still have to be happy with that trade, because Iguess you don't give a rats ass about Rose's big contract for him doing nothing.

He had a terrible last sim, got in foul trouble.  I think is time for him to take his roids again.
