Got a couple of guys with potential that were high on my list. Not bad at all.

Love the James Hill pick.

Pretty much everyone is gone now.

I would still take that SF with B inside, but that is all that is left.

Crap, I thought it was only picks 10-15, and now I'm stuck with a scrub.

Very happy to get James Hill, i never thought that he'd still be available at 14. Defense isent that great, but it looks like he can score and handle the ball he'll back up the SG and play a little PG also.

I'm going to assume the Rockets 12th pick was a CPU.

Man, you really, really get punished for not getting your picks in on time.

Don't get why Pistons would take Morrison over Hill.

I liked his name more, plus I like Arizona in real life, plus with a name like Vito he sounds gangsta(Bods - can I have his last name changed to Corleone?)...  or better yet, maybe I just wanted too???

I just have a feeling he will be a decent player off the bench...

regarding my pick, Alan Reed:
Reed's the best PG in this draft when you look at the College ratings - according to my formula at least, which had Reed (87), Arbogast (89) and Ramsey (97) ranked top PGs. He comes from a winning program, leading his team to the NCAA finals. Guess you could do worse ...

regarding James Hill:
great guy, i was torn between Reed and him, but decided to go with a young PG as first choice as Quinc Mihm is a fine young SG too.

regarding Vito Morrisson:
if that potential holds true you can't argue that he might be ahead of Hill on both ends of the floor. He's a better defender already. Now only if that potential holds true (did i mention it's scouted so far) ...

regarding Armando Thompson:
biggest upside in this draft (according to my formula). The Mavs are back to their old tricks of stacking long-term projects on the lower roster spots to let them develop. Didn't exactly bring them even close to a CF so far but the many A's sure look impressing ...

regarding Rockets and Hornets:
two cpu picks, and horrible ones at that (compared to the talent available). Especially bad for the Rockets at #12 who need every help they can get ...

...

and not to forget, Reed has the 2nd best A/TO ratio among PGs in this draft (behind Lord, who didn't face that good of a competition)

(for those of you who REALLY keep track, Mike Harper played almost exclusively at SG; and I give a shit about % points, 4.0 equals 4.0)

How does your fomula work, lower the better? Because if you have Ramsey at 97 and Arbogast at 89, Reed wouldn't be the top PG.

A+ = 1
A = 2
A- = 3
and so on

and of course, ratings are weighted depending on position need.

the tricky things are
- to make all positions comparable
- to apply the correct weight factors
- to compare current ratings and potential ratings from college (where a slightly different rating system is used)

so lower means better

Holy, I was going to trade up to get Armando Thompson with the 11th pick and that didn't work well and I was sure he won't fall to me at 17th.  This guy got tons of Pot reminded me of Max last year.  Happy to get him at 17. :D

Agree, the potential is there

but he's also at least one great TC BEHIND the ratings Max Gutierrez had last year at draft time, so don't start the parade yet ...
