Title: trading a conditional draft pick Post by: NetsGM on November 29, 2005, 03:35:38 PM Nope.
Mostly because it's a record keeping nightmare. Not just because we have to keep track of what picks gets traded, but also because it then makes it hard to determine what picks are available to trade (not being able to have 2 years without a #1). Title: trading a conditional draft pick Post by: SpursGM-old on November 29, 2005, 03:42:18 PM But it is allowed to trade a current year draft pick conditionally, right?
For example I'll trade a 2013 first to Hornets for 2011 first IF so-and-so is available. If he is not available then Hornets keep the pick. Title: trading a conditional draft pick Post by: NetsGM on November 29, 2005, 04:08:30 PM Yes, you can send a draft sheet that has conditional trades.
Since it's done right then there's no record keeping. |
