76ers go 1-4, now have the 6th worst record :)

I'm praying for top 5.

Indiana struggling...geez, what happen to the Spurs?

And oh yeah, my first sim with Hoffa: 7 - 3. nice 8)

Nets, can you send me a DC for this sim? thx

Great play overall by my team. Hoffa is being a dissapointment so far, but he needs some time to adjust and with proper DC, he'll be just fine. Danny Fortson really outplayed him, lol.

Some of the highlights;
Danny Forston with 29pts and 13rebs as i trashed the Grizzlies by 30. Reall nice. 6 guys in double digits.

Tracy Mcgrady with 34/11/8, Hoffa 17/10 and Fortson with 12/14 in a W vs the Nuggets.

Nicest box score so far in a W aganst the Warriors. Tmac with 27/9, Bibby with 28/16/8 and Hoffa with 25/11. I want that on daly basis.

Tmac with triple double again as he went for 24/10/10 vs the Pistons. Steph with 21 points in 19 minutes (  :) ).

7 - 3 overall with 2 point loss to the Cavs. And on the bad side, Hornets trashed me by 25 but for some reason Hoffa played only 17 minutes.

A miracle happened in Portland, i went 4-4 in this seasons toughest sim, i was hoping for 2-6 or 1-7 and eventually lost 1 game to only team i really saw beating. It was first non-negative sim this season and miracle is called Darius Perry i would say, i gave him a chance as backup a long time ago, he did nothing, now that i had a plan to trade him for nothing, i said let's give a guy a last chance to see, and not just that he led this team to 4-4 he improved his FG from 29 to 42 %, his FT from 60 to 73 % and 3PT from 25 to 35 %, and more important except in scoring his stats jumped and has a better per minutes ratio in assists, rebs and steals then Telfair now, not to mention a lot less TO's.

Perry on FIRE !!!!!

Telf sorry man, you'll have to sit down another sim, this guy brought good performances to Blazers finally in the toughest sim of the season, let's see if he can suprise more.

What?! Mike Bibby and Hoffa didn't make the All Star team?? Wow...

Post by: BlazersGM on November 07, 2005, 08:18:46 PM
Now the highlights (Cavs are gonna be pissed, beat them 2x), started with 3 wins :

at Cavs 125-122 All-star Schultz with 27,Russel 23, Perry 21/5/8 with 4 steals ! Buehler 17/10, Cunny 12/8/14

at Wolves 108-94 Webber 19/11, Buehler 15/10 fouled out early, 7 players with more then 10 points.

Cavs 123-95 Schultz 22/7/3, Houbregs 21/5/7, Buehler 18/11,Cunny 14/13, again 7 players between 11 and 22 points plus
Perry with 9/7/8 and 3 steals.

at Clippers 81-88 pretty bad shooting, no special performance's by any player, only Schultz and Buehler did well

Kings 100-118 Shultz with 26, Perry with 10 assists and 6 steals !

at Bucks 106-102 Shultz 25/14/3, Perry 17/3/3 with 4 steals, man can he steal the balls, his shooting was suprising
this sim considering his C shooter.

at Heat 86-120 now this was the team i saw beating (or Bucks maybe), and eventually got totally demolished by them.
Must say Perry 13/8/8 with 3 steals.

Magic 92-101 Even perfomances from many players, Perry stole 5 balls, damn.

I was totally shocked seeing Shultz on All-Star also, didnt know All-Star happened as i haven't noticed any discussion about it, but that kid is going to be huge it seems.

3-3 sim. My team will continue to be mediocre with this terrible defense. Sure, the offense has its fair share of dominating games, but the defense usually cancels it out and results in losses. However, I'm going to wait on doing any major trades to turn the team around(doesn't including trading Carter) until after this upcoming off-season.

you would go 5-1 if this Perry caracter didnt do wonders to my team this sim.

Celtics went 2-3 and, interestingly enough, had a shotout with the Hornets which we finished on the losing end 120-125.

Road wins over Magic and Bulls made me believe the dark days are gone, but the home loss to the Wolves and the road defeat at Sacramento provided the reality check.

Bringing Jefferson from then bench gave me some instant offense, but cost me in the team balance.

There's change to come ...

5-2, not bad, but losing to the Clippers hurts since they are the top team in the West.
Shaun Livingston set the single game assist record, with 24!  :D

You know Hoffa is a natural center, right? Why not play him at C and Fortson at PF?

raps go 1-3, a dissapointment, however GAIN a game on 8th spot, now only 1 gae back.

However, SPURS GO 9-0, WHAT THE FUCK. Their pick goes from T-6th to 16th. Fucking beautiful.

Heat go 3-2 and their pick is now T-9th.

Went 3-2 this sim...
Stromile continues to shoot alot, even as a non-option. Good thing he gets to the line quite a bit.  Will probably move him back as an option next sim.

Bad shooitng by Swift and Bryant cost me the Kings game.
And an uncharacteristic 19 to's cost the Pistons game.

This team may have played better with Swift injured.

All right, I've been crunching stats for a while, and this is what I havve come up with for player stats, starters in bold:

C: Yao Ming: 41.25mpg, 37.5ppg, 12rpg, 2.75apg, 1.25spg, 2.5bpg, 4topg. 15.5FGpg, 31.5FPApg = 49.2%

--I would like to see those rebounds increase, given Sampson is not the greatest rebounder...and those turnovers will HAVE to go down.

PF: Sampson: 26mpg, 10.5ppg, 6.25rpg, 1.5apg, 0spg, 0.25bpg, 2.25topg, 4FGpg, 10.25FGApg = 39%.

--Well, like the fact that he can score, but if he's only gonna shoot 39%, h might be benched. Turnovers are a factor with Sampson as well. Would like to see maybe 1-2 more rebounds per game.

PF: Jamal Del Negro: 20.75mpg, 7.25ppg, 3.75rpg, 1.75apg, 0.5spg, 0bpg, 0.5topg, 2.5FGpg, 4.75FGApg = 52.6%

--Love the scoring off he bench. Could take starting position from Sampson as early as the sim after next. I know the rebounding isn't going to be great, so I am happy with 4 in 20 mins.

SF: Tayshaun Prince: 30mpg, 5.5ppg, 6rpg, 1.75apg, 1.5spg, 1.25topg, 1.25bpg, 2FGpg, 4.25FGApg = 47%

--Tayshaun earning his playing time, playing good defens while scoring at a good rate, being a great rebounder and a great shot blocker. Love him at SF.

SF/SG: Kareem Longley: 25mpg, 6ppg, 4rpg, 2.5apg, 1spg, 1.75topg, 0.5bpg, 2.5FGpg, 7.25FGApg = 34.5%

--If you would improve your shooting percentage, I would be really, really happy with you Kareem. Love the fact that you are rebounding and sharing the ball with consistency.

SG: Mickael Pietrus: 31mpg, 9.75ppg, 6.75rpg, 1.5apg, 0.75spg, 0.25bpg, 2.5topg, 3.75FGpg, 8FGApg = 46.9%

--Mike, I think you have earned the right to be the second option to Yao next sim. Great scoring, and fantastic rebounding help from the SG position. Wish you wouldn't turn the ball over so much.

PG: Max Guiterrez: 30.75mpg, 11.25ppg, 4.5rpg, 7.5apg, 0.75spg, 2topg, 0.25bpg, 4.25FGpg, 9.75FGApg = 43.6%

--Max, I love you. I love the fact that you share the ball so well and keep the TOs way down. Gonna move you to a 3rd option for the next sim as I think Mike is a bit of a better scorer than yourself. Keep doing what you are doing though.

PG: Steve Nash: 17.25mpg, 5.25ppg, 1.25rpg, 4.75apg, 1.25spg, 1.75topg, 2FGpg, 6FGApg = 33.3%

--Well Steve, I'm sorry it has come to this, as I know that you are still a starting quality PG in this league. Hopefully I can trade you to a title contender so you can get yourself a ring before it's too late. Your assists in such a limited role is fantastic.

yuck

Kidd with a big setback. out for 43 damn days. someone must have lucked out on my plan ;)

But Mangrum had a tremendous game dishing out 18 asts in his 1st start. Unfortunately, Livingston schooled him. :D

He then schooled Bolinger with 33 point in 13 of 16 field goals and Bolinger shot a pitiful percentage. :D peace :D don't kill me. or I'll steal you fucking gadgets (oh am I sounding like our peasant whose days are numbered???   such a pitiful face our peasant has.. just a terrible sight to see)

Mangrum is passing like crazy.

oh yeah... Dwight set a career high of 49points... boo-yah!!1 too bad 19 of it came from free throws.. shots 19 of 24 btw. :D

Oscar Ferry fouled out, so and Cardinal was in deep trouble.

oh yeah! to top it off Mangrum just made his 1st triple double after showing signs of it.  17, 10 and 12. :D sadly, six turnovers:D

I didn't know sim was going to be last night, my gf lost her nerver cause of the Hoffa deal as she said she's gonna leave the house unless i stop staring at the monitor, i was in a rush so i forgot to post my DC.

Actually, he was listed as SF in most of the games, have no idea why (?!).

Great 8-0 sim...based on a couple factors.  Moved more vets back into the lineup last sim and also played a weaker schedule this sim.

Last sim played mostly high playoff teams; this sim played Rockets 3 times, Magic twice, Mavs, Suns....only top team was Sonics.

Very interested in this next sim...
I play 5 games on the road (starting to even out my home heavy schedule so far), and finally get to play the other top team in the East, the Celtics.  Currently 1-1 vs. the Nets, 2-0 vs. the Hornets, and 2-2 vs the Clippers, 1-1 vs. the Sonics, 2-0 vs. Jazz, and 1-0 vs. the Bulls.
Time to see how the Warriors stack up against another title contender (that's right Celt's, just called you a title contender)   :D
