I don't understand, that's what Hoffa is... Sorry if this is a highjack, but I am interested in Hoffa and want to know what it would take.

Ooops sorry. Didn't explain all.

I don't like Hoffa. It is unacceptable for me that i have a guy who's a stiff in real NBA. I don't like him as a player. I WANNA KEEP IT REAL as much as possible. Call me crazy, but that 's just me.

I would trade him for a guy with similiar numbers (better deense is also very welcomed) but who's a great player in real NBA too, in a heartbeat.

 :)

I've got Brad Miller.  A- defense, good player in real life.  Currently putting up 13/13 (on a per 35 minute basis).  16/13 when he plays more than 30 minutes in a game.

Are you related to Big Z in anyhow?  If yes, he is da man. :D

Nets, i'll take that as a joke.

Mavs, Big Z is not in the same category as Hoffa and his contract is really something i don't want to touch with the 10 foot pole. :)

I don't think he means it as a joke, I think he means it as a bit of a lesson.

You are going to have to get used to playing in a league where fake players and players greatly exceeding their abilities in real life rule.

Are you telling me you wouldn't want Yao on your team?

I know Nets was joking.

Yao, he's ok in real NBA. Send him over, no problem. :)

Where did this 24 hour rule come from? Isn't that just for sign and trades.

Definitely isn't...

Quote
Players acquired in a trade have a trade restriction where they can’t be traded until 60 days have passed, unless one of the following two conditions are true:

1) They (the acquired player being re-traded) are the only person being sent out by their team in the trade.

2)  The team trading that player (the acquired player being re-traded) is under the salary cap.

Its for 3 way trades.

Oh, no.

3 way trades must be posted AS 3 way trades.

Good catch.

Sorry kings, Hoffa's untradable except as the only outgoing player.

I thought that all you had to do was declare it a 3 way trade - that's what I was hinting at in the trade thread.

These deals must clearly be defined as a 3-way trade from the first post of the trade in the Completed Trades Forum.

I never thought this rule applies for Hoffa + fillers.

Damn, damn you moron, you'll never win a championship!!

Hahahahaha ...

This Hoffa trade exchanges score a rock solid 9.7 on my personal "unintentional comedy scale". That's just great acting from all parties involved, no script could have made that better than real life.

Keep it going guys !!!

So you're basically saying you didn't know about the 60 day rule... :screwy:

The KingsGM told me all along that the only reason he wanted him was to trade him again....so it was always his intention to make it a 3 way, I guess.

And I understand it's a problem making a 3-way deal through 3 timezones that are around 15 hours apart in total. Yes, we are a global game and US-Europe-Asia aren't always equally accessible ...

Then you organize a 3-way deal beforehand. It's called a 3-way trade because it's one trade.

and with the reactions of kingsgm, had the trade been finalized, he would have posted it immediately upon realizing his mistake.

I'm sure there's a way to work it out if he gets creative.  That's why I told him to pm it to me.

since I did erroneously say he can make a trade within 24 hours, I will say mea culpa and allow him to make a trade until 7pm tomorrow night.

First let me say thanks to Commish.

Second, my other trade was not 100% certain. 3rd party involved said he is very interested but the trade depends on several factors which i don't want to disclose cause it's pretty much bussines secret. And since some of those factors worked in my favor this past last days i though i had a great chance to make the deal.

And third, i wasn't thinking about 3 way deal cause i never thought about 60 day rule (i'm having trouble with that EVERY year, can't tell why. Problem with the drink or abnormal and blinding desire to get what i want might have something to do with that). So i thought i could trade him whenever i want. And since i gave my word to RapsGM that we'll do the deal, i didn't want to back down after almost 2 weeks of negoting.

I would probably trade for Hoffa anyway, so no problem with that. It just won't end up the way i imagine.
