Well, turns out I was wrong about it not being a word :oops: However, my search turned up something about this (and it's crazy how relevant it was, haha): Quote Addicting ...is not an adjective! You can only say "The cocaine is addicting me." You cannot say "Cocaine is addicting." Cocaine is addicting what? AddictIVE is an adjective.
