very very tough for me to pull the trigger on this one.  Amare is a stud and I really need a good scorer.  Here's how I justify the deal from my end.  Dickman is a solid player inside, who should be getting double double's all year.  Ivan is a guy who hasn't improved but is a good scorer, his percentages are up but TO's rose with it.  Marion is a guy with solid ratings, who will keep improving but doesn't score enough for me, although I do like his D.  Then the picks....I'm sure the Wizards hope I continue to be dreadful through 2013 because they have my next 3 picks, which will probably be 3 good players they get.  But I got their 2012 which right now looks like it has lottery potential.  The Raps have a great team and any trades they make will most likely improve them so I'm not worried about losing that one.  I think it's fairly even and should help both of us.

At first glance this trade seems pretty even.  Both teams have to hope that all the players involved (except Amare) live up to their potential though.

Amare's an incredible player, and 25 years old.  Hawks get to keep Carter as well.  They could make the playoffs (although they have no room for injuries).
