Just want to know what you guys major in.  I just changed my major from Pre-Pharm to accounting today.  Don't know why I major in Pre-Pharm in the first place, since I hate science courses.

My major is Physical Fitness Specialist, which is a fancy name for Exercise Physiology.  I will probably go for my 2nd degree in Physical Education with an emphasis on working with Physical Education in a correctional facility.

My major is undeclared.

But probably History, possibly English.

I was a philosophy major. Now I'm in law school.

Agriculture (agronomy).

Getting an MBA whenI graduate, as I'm an inspiring Entreprenuer (probably butchered the spelling lol).

I didn't do much in HS, I hardly do my homework in HS.  I think I wrote less than 10 essays in HS.  Yea, you don't need to go to class everyday in college, but you will pay for it when you see your exam grades.

I tihnk i already wrote like 10 essay this year.

I found that college is a snap as long as you stay away from classes that try to teach you a skill you can actually use in the real world. That is why I chose the least practical major.  :D

Also, go on www.ratemyprofessors.com to see which profs are the easiest. That site is awesome. I basically picked my last two years of college that way.

For me I'd say senior year of high school was more fun than the best year of college; but taken as an aggregate, college was more fun. At least from what I can remember...  :bods:

I used ratemyprofessors.com for all my classes too.  I was trying to register for RMI class on this easy professor but by the time when my turn to register his section was filled, I was very mad. :x

Dude, high school ain't jack.  I breazed through high school with little effort.  Sure, you don't HAVE to go to college classes (some take attendance).  You also don't HAVE to pass all your classes either, lol.  Rarely will a professor give you an exam that doesn't cover class material.  And the workload is 10x high school workload.

And while I don't care if I do jack in high school and just barely pass, I don't think you want to spend all that $ to go to college then fail out.

You sure he doesn't mean scheduling days off?  I mean I have thursday and almost tuesday off.  But yeah I wasn't ready for the amount or length of essays I would be doing.  Anyway back to the topic Electrical Engineering.

I would guess same school as Nets.

No after seeing the debt Nets is in I decided two years at a community college may be a better choice.

Drexel is a private college, two years at CCP is a smart move, but you also won't learn much.

Yeah but the way I'm doing it is basically all my general studies classes the first two years.  All my engineering classes will end up most likely at penn state.

I think the going to calss thing is pretty overrated.

I'm a first year, and today I had a poly sci mid term. I have not attended a lecture since the orientation one, and had not done ANY of the readings.

I taught myself the course in 3 nights.


I'm pretty sure the exam went well.

Political science is easy, I took it first year and got an A-.  Pretty much learned all of the material in HS.

all 4 yaers at community college I wouldn't recommend.  The only real worry of doing 2 years at community college then 2 years at a "real" college is if the credits transfer, but as long as you don't have any problems with that, it makes sense.

I have never taken it before, so it's all french to me.

I woke up this morning and my tounge was black. Literally, dark black. It seems to be some sort of film, since i was able to brush most of it off with a toothbrush. However, I can't get right to the back of my tounge without gagging myself, so that remains pitch black.

I was drinking last night (Tequilla, Scotch and Vodka, mostly Scotch).

Also, I woke up about every 4 hours last night to chew some pepto bismo...i'm wondering if it might be from that?

If anyone knows anything or has had this happen to them, gimmie a shout. I feel pretty good besides the obvious symptoms of being hungover, so I'm thinking it is probably no biggie.

I'm a senior in high school and i'd like to major in entrenpreneurship or international business, but, i'm a senior in high school so wtf do i know. I applied to Drexel, penn state, univ. of pitt, Towson, and Indiana Uni. so i'll see what happens.

Oh, and I put down ssba champion on my awards section and ssba gm on my transcript!

I'm over at Juniata College, 40 minutes south of State College. I was a bio major looking to get into biomed research, didn't like the lab environment, so I was pre-med biochem, loved it but found i really like sociology classes and social work stuff (but not enough money in those fields). Realized there's more to life than school and work, so I narrowed my career focus to pre-chiropractic and I designed my own major and entitled it "Social Issues and Health." So now I'm graduating in 3 and a half years, going to chiropractic school most likely up in Seneca Falls, NY in between Rochester and Syracuse and then I want to go to grad school to get an MPH (master of public health) with a concentration in either nutrition or behavioral/social sciences probably at John Hopkins in B'more or at Univ of Pitt who has a shortened program for individuals with existing professional degrees.

In all honesty, i did consider putting that on my applications for the laugh but in the end I didn't. But imagine the lol's/rejections if i had.

LOL, that's a good one really, good sense for humour :D

I put everything and everything I did on my college applications.
I don't think winning a championship in this league would be that much of a stretch if the admissions people could know what it's about. There are some intelligent people here. Think about the responsibility the person running the sims takes on. It's pretty demanding...
