For the inside player, my conclusion is it increases his efficiency a tad, but lowers his fga's as well. Iverson was jacking up threes on a balanced offense, but now I'm switching to an Inside focus. Hopefully, that will rein his range in a bit. I would think that the same thing would apply to your situation (just reversed).
