I traded down for the younger player who is locked up long term, while the 2nd rounders help a bit in other deals.

After the success of the Spurs and Celtics last year, it should show that when you continually build for the future you never succeed in the present. Randolph had many, many years left. Don't like this trade. If Biedrins was this monster defensively I could see. But he's a B- at pf and a B at center.

Title: me Post by: GrizzliesGM on October 23, 2005, 11:59:02 AM I did this because I am fed up with Biedrens. He is to inconsistent in training camps. More importantly, however, my team seemed to win much more when biedrens was on the bench. I welcome randolph to the grizzlies who has been consistently getting 25-30 ppg and lots of rebounds.
The only thing is that this year biedrens played as my 3rd option and got 20 pgg so i can see him getting 25-30 ppg with the blazers.
