Allright, Hoiberg for the LLE, I'll take that.

Gotta get someone with my MLE though.

YIPPIE, Celtics get first FA signing their offer this year (I know technically Tower did before, but who apart from me, even bid for him ...)

Well, there WAS a slight doubt if the Nuggets would throw the remaining money at Nat Van Exel to sign him for 3 or more years so i'm glad they went with Luuuuuke instead. And with no more money on the table that jerk finally accepted my offer.

Glad you're back, Nat. Btw, your locker moved over there, next to the bathroom door now (whisper: till you learn something bout dignity)...

NICE!

I get Sheed who add much needed depth and height to my roster!

Wooden and Wallace are nice additions to the teams, now to go and get Finley and maybe even Kandi back. I should have some nice depth this year, things are slowly coming together...

Shit, i just realized the Bucks have trio turnovicus in Davis - Arenas - Pierce. They have a pretty good team but i think they'll break couple of TO's records this year.

I only had $540 dollars.  I don't think that would have gotten it done.

Thats not completely correct. You had 7mio before today but offered for Luke Ridnour (who you might have gotten much cheaper too) which ended all doubts i'd get Nat back.

It is completely correct.  I had about $11.8 million in cap room entering free agency, and spent all of that on Iverson on day 2.  My Excel sheet was wrong, so I had the whopping total of $540 leftover before I resigned Ridnour and Costello.

If I really had $7 million left over, I sure as hell wouldn't have wasted it on Luke Ridnour.   :)

Yeah, nothing like having a combined 11 TOPG from the 1-3 spots.  I bet most starting lineups don't average that many.

Actually there is one TEAM averaging less (the Grizzlies at 12.2) !!!

Yes but you can discount it some as there is still only one ball on the court for the 3 of them to throw away.

JWill is one of the most underrated players in the game.  When discussions of top pg's come up, his name never seems to be in there, and I don't know why.

(Stats on a per 35 minute basis to put on an even scale).
JWill vs. Opp Starting PG:
PPG: 15.4 vs. 13.2 (+2.2)
FG%: 46% vs. 43% (+3)
3pt%: 44% vs 40% (+4)
APG: 8.3 vs 7.5 (+0.8 )
TOPG: 1.8 vs. 2.9 (+1.1)
A/TO: 4.6 vs. 2.6 (+2)
SPG: 1.9 vs. 1.6 (+0.3)
3PTM (season): 152 vs. 102 (+50)
FTM: 154 vs. 128 (+26)

Those are just astounding numbers across the board.  It's not just personal production, but net improvement.

Of course, that being said:
Boykins vs. Opp starting PG (per 35 minutes):
PPG: 18.2 vs. 13.9 (+ 4.3)
FG%: 47% vs. 46% (+1%)
3pt%: 42% vs. 39% (+3%)
APG: 8.9 vs. 7.3 (+1.6)
TOPG: 1.7 vs. 3.34 (+1.6)
A/TO: 5.2 vs. 2.2 (+3)
SPG: 2.1 vs. 1.8 (+0.3)
3PTM: 159 vs. 95 (+64)
FTM: 184 vs. 111 (+73)

For JWill, he has one true weakness...

per 35 mpg
JWill rpg 2.82, opponent rpg 4.23

Boykins outrebound his opponents, but I did not know he let up such a high percentage.

You guys think I overpaid for Sheed? If TC is unkind to him he could turn nasty...  :?

Not really.  If he stays at his current level, Sheed is a good starter at SF, and very possibly a decent starter at PF as well.

At his current age and potential, he can only go down IMO

I though this, hence the 2 year deal. Although Mike Finley improve in TC last year and I thought for sure he was finished... so I decided to give him another year...  :D

He is definitely tradeable for some youth or picks. I don't think you overpaid at all.

Actually I couldn't care less if my PG is outrebounded by a board or two. That's not a skill I look for at this position ...

That's too bad...  A PG or SG that gets outrebounded gives up a possession or two a game, at least.

With some pretty good rebounders (Wallace and JRich are excellent rebounders at their positions), the Grizz were basically even in rebounding last year.  If Jwill was a better rebounder, they would easily beat their opponents in rebounding.

How would you guess this ?

It's of no importance if my PG or someone else gets the board. A strong (defensive) rebounding guy like Kidd mainly takes boards from his teammates. But to speak of lost possessions then is a bit of a reach.

Offensive boards mean lost possession, but that # is hard to calculate here with FT attempts factoring in too.

I would guess a strong rebounding pg mainly helps your fast break, and would work best in conjunction with a fast or very fast pace.
