Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: NetsGM on October 18, 2005, 12:37:40 AM Finished tomorrow morning. I just don't have the energy to do an hours worth of stuff right now.
Day 3 will still be Tuesday night. Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: MagicGM on October 18, 2005, 12:41:09 AM almost freaked me out how fast you did the offers :D

Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: RaptorsGM on October 18, 2005, 08:54:47 AM Whew.
Oh my God. So, before coming here, I went to the Main Index site. Saw that the calender said next was Day 3...saw that I had no Nash on my team....died a little bit inside. But now I'm ok :) Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on October 18, 2005, 09:01:47 AM Quote from: RaptorsGM Whew. Oh my God. So, before coming here, I went to the Main Index site. Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: KingsGM-old on October 18, 2005, 10:10:37 AM Mike Bibby WELCOME HOME!!!!! :D :D
ps Why the hell Jason Kidd signed for the Magic when i offered him a 6 year deal with almost 10 mil a season??! :? But alright, i won't be greedy... Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: NetsGM on October 18, 2005, 10:12:04 AM Bibby may have accepted your offer first, thus you wouldn't have the available cap room.
Or it could be that Jason Kidd has a 60 loyalty and only 25 greed. Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: HawksGM on October 18, 2005, 10:15:47 AM I like Terrance Przybilla whom the Knicks signed. He has good offensive ratings and his percentages are phenominal but that could just be because of his limited shots.
Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: GoldenStateGM on October 18, 2005, 10:34:16 AM Well, so far, I would have to say the offseason successes are the Bucks and the Kings.
Bucks have added a nice piece in Arenas, while keeping their free agents, and the Kings have added some decent talent at PG, SF, and PF. The Wiz will have the best inside offense in the game, with Maggette, Amare, SAR, and Donta, if they all start. Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: OldNuggetsGM on October 18, 2005, 10:38:24 AM Was really hoping to get Kidd, but Iverson is a nice fallback option. His penetration should help Gadz and Berkowitz, and even Barry on the wing. I also probably overpaid a bit, but if I didn't get one of either Kidd or Iverson, all my plans would've been for naught.
There should still be some nice MLE options out there, since only one team has more room than the MLE. Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: KingsGM-old on October 18, 2005, 10:41:47 AM That's a way too much money for SAR IMO.
Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: BlazersGM on October 18, 2005, 10:44:34 AM GREAT, now i got lucky finally after day 1 fracaso, got my PF's in Harrington and Nene, and C in Jerome :D
Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: RaptorsGM on October 18, 2005, 10:59:20 AM I obviously knew I would get Nash back, but it's still a releive to have him in the purple/white/red :)
Got James back too which is nice. Still have the MLE, too. However I do need to fill 7 roster spots haha Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: Anonymous on October 18, 2005, 11:02:34 AM Picked up Malik Allen & Terrance Przybilla to round out my roster. Malik should add some defense and rebounding and Przybilla has a chance to be a very good scorer off the bench with the potential to be even more.
I'm quite happy with my FA haul. I was able to get the two mentioned above, plus a starting SF in Bob Diddle and a PF project in Ernest Cousy. I still have almost 4.5 million in cap room to work with in trades as well. I still probably won't make the playoffs but we should be improved, plus I've added some more quality young guys with some potential Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: GoldenStateGM on October 18, 2005, 11:22:06 AM Really suprised no one has made an offer for Diop yet. He is a good center, and the only starting center left on the board right now.
Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: KingsGM-old on October 18, 2005, 11:23:42 AM I did.

Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: Anonymous on October 18, 2005, 11:33:43 AM I offered Diop a contract on both days, I just signed other people first
Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: JazzGM-old on October 18, 2005, 11:35:10 AM grizz got a decent steal for Eschmeyer, less than 1 mil over a year
Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: RaptorsGM on October 18, 2005, 12:37:22 PM I offered a few MLE contracts that werent taken, yet thse players are still on the market. They wnt get a much better offer than the MLE from me.

Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: BucksGM on October 18, 2005, 02:01:33 PM I'm surprised someone else offered Donta that much money. Once I had Gilbert and was capped out, I actually put forth a comparable offer for Donta and he still bolted for the Wiz.
I think I can get over it though, since I brought back last year's team but replaced Donta with Arenas. :) Title: Day 2 FA Results Post by: CavsGM on October 18, 2005, 03:11:17 PM Glad I got Nesterovich. He improved nicely last TC, and maybe he can improve some more. He can be a solid contributor off the bench. I'll have his bird rights now too, so I can keep him.
