Title: Suns/Nuggets deal

Did this for two reasons: 1) I have enough depth up front that I was able to deal from that for more strength in the backcourt (which is where I was lacking, having really no offense there at all); 2) to get out from under Collison's contract.

Only Stockton and Glover stick around next year, and with the three first rounders this year, I was able to lose my pick next year with no repercussions (unless I suck next year too, but I don't plan on that happening).

It was tough to part with Posey, but I felt this was something I had to do.  Collison, IMO, is not worth the money, and I tried moving him for a long time.  I initially traded for him (in the offseason) thinking that I'd move him for a piece I needed, but ended up moving him just for depth.

I will most likely lose this deal at the outset, but with the added caproom and increased depth, I should at least break even in the long run.

I quite like this deal for the Suns...
They add two pieces that may help catapult them forward in the Western Conference, just in time for Shaq's final years...
Posey will be a great defensive addition, and Collison will be fantastic off the bench.

For the Nuggets...
They get a nice player in Stockton, and a pretty good SF fill in in Donta Smith.  Barry is nice, but he is very close to retirement, imo.
The picks are not likely to be lottery, probably late teens to twenties.

Edge, Suns...

Hopefully this deal helps me shore up some areas I needed help in. Collison takes Lo's spot, only he brings a little more def and rebounding to the table than Lo does. Posey is an outstanding defensive player and he will split time with Walker and Ward at the sf and sg spots. while keeping my def within the top 5 or so in the league. and hopefully Collison, and Posey can help me increase my scoring a little also, (being that i'm in the bottom 5 there.) the pick next year, I dident want, but I had to take that to get the deal to go over, maybe i'll get lucky and it'll turn out to be a pretty good pick. So now i have a SL of

Shaq/Hoiberg
Magliore/Collison
Walker/Posey
Posey/Ward
Hav/Ward/Eisley

thats a pretty solid lineup, and hopefully it can help me towards the WCF.

Now this is a good one for the Suns.

Posey and collison are legit players capable of getting them starters and quality backup minutes. All they gave up was a 104yr old and some scrubs. The picks, well you know my believe here ...

For the Nuggets they didn't go anywhere with these guys and the cap space will come in handy. So this deal might work both ways
