Good work again by bods.

Up one position, from 14 to 13. I agree with bods, my frontcourt has been doing pretty well right now. I hope my pick can give me a very good backcourt player who could help my team right away.

Well, I do care about Nash....if I was only concerened about the Contract, I would have kept Baron :)

But yeah, don't expect much from this team THIS year :)

How you mean i'm winning games based on 3pt shooting? I don't have a one decent 3pt shooter on my team!

Nets, be bored more often  :) Great rankings again

Hopefully I can keep this up, to be ranked 6th at this point in the season is something I wouldn't have suspected at the beginning of the season (although you haters kept saying I was guarenteed lotto.  Tsk, Tsk  :))

How can teams not expect much from you? You got one of the most talented teams in the league.

Yao = best bigman in the league, Nash = top 5 point guard in the league, diddle = pretty good defensively and offensively (statistically and ratings) and Deng same with diddle. Dont worry, I do expect the raps to do better in the upcomming sims.

very very wrong if he wants to do better he wouldn´t change the pace to very fast.... the raptors are trying to loose as many games as possible.
it is the only way to explain why he isn´t taking care of the rest of the team. he is also in rebuilding mode. so it is a kind of tanking but we can call it a way to see what his players are worth with different settings.

I was more talking defense.  your last sim you held people to 31% from 3 pt range.

I don't really consider what I am doing to be tanking.

I am trying to see if the players other than Yao will catch up to him.

However, I would like to get as high a pick as possible.

you need a whole season to know that? You could have just observe in one sim.

the flaw with the Pacers' argument is that there's no reason to tank if you don't have your own draft pick.

Actually, it has gotten gradually better.

And Hornets, I do have my draft pick.

Nothing in the rules says that I'm tanking.

I'm determining what is best for my big guy, and what guys fit best around him. There's nothing wrong with that.

There are no set rules for tanking, it's a subjective test.

From the rules page:
Quote
Unfortunately, there are no set rules we can lay down to squarely say you're tanking. That's why we require a nomination AND a unanimous vote.

I think you're walking a fine line, but you're not messing with your rotations.

If the rules said that you had to do your best to win games, then I would nominate your DC. However, there is room for people to experiment with their teams, as there should be.

Yup, as it should be. I really shouldn't be walking a "fine line". I've found the pace that works best for the core of my team (Yao). I've made trades to try to find players that work best with this pace (Nash).

right. Your moves create more confidence that you aren't "tanking" in the way I think it's been discussed before.

Well, I'm not going to lie that it's not nice being in a position to have the top pick, but that's not why I'm doing it...Yao is averaging 38/15 on the season. I want to find a way to turn that into me winning :)

my apologies to the bulls and cavs.  after giving them props, both teams immediately went into freefalls.

if anyone has someone whom they'd like to see fall in the standings, just let me know, and i'll push 'em up the power rankings.

You also had the Knicks at #28 and we proceeded to go 5-1. Please keep us low in the next one

You've found the pace that best inflates Yao's ppg/rpg.

The impact the very fast pace has had on stuff like his defense is just as important (and probably immeasurable)
