I was going to run the sim right now, but because people aren't checking their rosters to make sure trades work, I will be doing it later tonight to give poeple time to fix the trades.

Craw didn't play too well of the bench for me, hopefully my team plays better this sim.

Nice, went 6-3, had a 6 game winning streak and went 7-3 in my last 10

Beat some elite teams, like the Hornets and Jazz.  Had a surprising loss to the Celtics which hurts, I would have been tied for 4rth in the east if I beat them.  

My weekly jock riding of Dean Drew continues, he raised his ppg average by almost 2 ppg this sim, from 14 to 16.  Man, I'm SO glad Nets implemented the 2nd rounder rule

I love it.  Finally, this team shows positive signs.

5-1 record this sim.  Four different leading scorers.

Individual accomplishments...

Dirk - 49 pts, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks vs Suns
Dirk - 32 pts, 13 rebounds vs Mavs
English - 17 pts, 14 assists vs Mavs
Kundla - 14 rebounds! at SG vs Mavs
Camby - 17 rebounds vs Mavs
English - 37 pts, 13 assists vs Lakers
Dirk - 42 pts, 15 rebounds vs Heat

The East is sooo deep, to think I would be 3rd if I were in the west

Haven't been that excited for a sim in a long time ...

- Will the losing ways finally stop for the Celtics?
- Can Pau be all they hope to be?
- Will it be necessary to get some more done?
- Are the playoffs still a locker room topic?
- Is Lenard legit ?
- Who will score for this team ?

And finally

- Can I have a nice weekend without worries ?

defense finally picked up a bit (held teams to 41% shooting, 31.5% 3pt).  Not great, but acceptable.

scored 107.3, gave up 90.3.  Shot 47% from the field, 45 from 3.  +2.6 in to's, +6 in rebounds.  +6 in blocks.  

Okafor liked PF.  24 ppg, 13.3 rpg, 4.4 bpg.  44% shooting, 62% from ft, 100% from 3.

Pettit was amazing.  33.3 ppg, 7 rpg, 5.4 apg, 2 spg, 49% 3pt

Boykins had a good sim.  22.5, 51% fg, 41.4% 3pt.  Dalembert with 11 rebounds and 3.2 blocks.  i'll take it.

Three games under .500 :oops:

Vs the Hawks Drew had 43 points on 74% shooting

Anderson averaged 3.8 bpg (over 9 games)

Craw is not playing very well off the bench, unfortunately there's just no room in my starting lineup for him.  The good thing is that the trade worked out great for me, I basically only gave up a mid to late 1rst rounder

I know FBB is a purely statistical based system, but I swear, if there was ever a player that brought horrible luck to a team, it's Paul Pierce

Wow, I thought my team blow but after looking at the Warriors, I don't feel that bad now.  Warriors was suppose to be one of the top 5 teams in the league coming into the season, they have a good starting lineup, I just don't know what is wrong there.

3-4, again a tough schedule including the jazz/clippers/hornets.  3 of my 4 losses were to the Wizards.

Baron came over and promptly set my team assists record in his first sim.

Hinrich being injured for 50 games + Pierce being a FBB Cancer = Bad record

Still even without Hinrich, I though they'd have a much better record.  I mean, its not like Bird is horrible (8 assists per game, 3.6 turnovers per game) and he still has Hoffa, Swift, and Pierce

It's all about Hinrich...
My team just cannot play without him, he is the glue that makes the offense tick.  Probably one of the better creators for others in the game, and definitely a top 5 PG.
WHenever he has been out at all, my team, no matter the configuration has done badly....  This is no exception, sadly :)

Ugly sim. 0-6 can only be ugly. The team's poor defense is starting to hurt now, as I can't always count on high scoring.

and you play ANOTHER game with the Wiz next sim. Great, 3 straight Wiz-Bucks games. That happens when you hire a schedule maker from the MLB ...  :D

This is good though, I'm getting all my hard games out of the way.  My second half is very, very easy (compared to the first half)

Not quite what I expected, but a start. 3-3 sim with huge wins over direct playoff-spot competitors Bulls and Wizards. Loss to the Knicks hurts (but this was my first game with Gasol in the lineup)

Speaking of Gasol: played just 9 minutes (4 fouls) vs. Amare and 17 minutes (fouled out) vs. Duncan (well, with 15pts but please ...). Never got on track and finished with 13.5ppg/8rpg/1.5bpg.
Mr. Gasol, that was NOT what I traded Mr. Michelin Eddy for.

My rebounding woes seem over as i outrebounded every opponent (as well as out-assisted). Gasol, Kaman (10/11/2.2) and Jefferson (14/8/1.7) form a rock solid frontcourt now.

And finally, MIP-candidate Lenard went off even more: 26ppg on 48% (63% triples) including a career high 44 against the Wizards. I love this guy ...

Well Kirilenko got hurt and shit went to hell..but then Hughes got hurt simultaneously which really threw my team for a loop. I didn't do so bad considering these factors. AK47's out for a little, but I have some quality backups to keep a strong playoff seeding in the meantime. I only lost to the nets by 3 when Kirilenko and Hughes were both out...and that's an accomplishment in itself :). Beardslee will finally get some minutes that he's been acheing for and I'll get a little taste of what Piatkowski can do. I'm moving Curran in the starting lineup since Molina adds extra rebounding to my starters and i need to make up the loss of scoringand defense in Ak47's absence.

Hmm...Yao's stats dropped a bit, but I think that was a result of me making Deng a 2nd option, and not so much the arrival of Nash.

At the end of the year I could very well have the leader in ppg, rpg, bpg, FG% and apg on my team.


The best part is I've got the 3rd and 11th picks currently.

Wow it sucks to be the warriors. Those injuries are pain in the ass just like the HeatGM..

2-1 - beat the 76ers & Celtics but lost to the Warriors. Trevor Wells is amazing and Andy Miles should be good (I'm willing to bet that his D issues are post D and shot blocking - they'll bring a PG down a lot).

I've also been very impressed with Fleisher & Sweetney.

emeka had his troubles with JO ... could only stay 24 mins on the floor...
also the rest of his frontcourt couldn´t stop from fouling JO so antonio had to share time at pf also .. funny

3 third sim in a row that i had the cavs in a sim and funny there will be fourth one... :D

Cato is doing a nice job...
another great sim avg. 10/13 while shooting a career high % from the field and the FT line through the season..
couldn´t expect more from him...

Blazers once more proved to be a road team,at home they just can't play good basketball,7-11 at home,9-7 on road,hopefully newly aquired players will add more depth to the team and they'll finally start to show some good b-ball at home too instead of playing good on road

Disappointing sim at 4-5; difficult way to finish out 35 games in 40 days.

However it started off well with 4-2 record including wins over Cavs & Hornets.  Finished horribly with 3 lopsided losses to Nets, Jazz, and Grizzlies.  Loss Arenas after 1 minute in the final game...although he is only out 6 more days.

Nuggets get back to .500 for the first time all year.  I find it astonishing that I'm somehow in the playoffs as of today.  I mean, I can't figure out what pace to play, what kind of focus the offense should have, and I have no starting-caliber SG.  Plus, I'm getting outscored by 4 points a game.

Zach Randolph again annihilates whoever's at PF on my team, and again singlehandedly leads his team to a victory.  It's a good thing we only play the Blazers 4 times (and the season series is now over, thankfully), or else Randolph might lead the league in scoring.

Some good news: Collison returns this upcoming sim.

Good sim for me, although Pavel goes down with an injured hammy. Looks like I'll have to step up my efforts for that pf/c.

3-5, constantly losing at home,winning on road,if i could just get to 50 % at home, playoffs will be in Portland

I just looked at my schedule for the first time.

I finish the season playing 15 STRAIGHT GAMES. 10 of them AWAY.

from day 53-77 I play 21 games in 24 days. Including 12 STRAIGHT.

That's INSANE.

Fatique doesn't exist in sim leagues, i think.

It exists in individual games, but I am pretty sure it doesn't affect you in back-to-back games.

Yes, it exists in one game, but doesn't carry over to further games.

It's not fatigue I'm talking about, just that 27 of my games are in 2 bunches.
