Title: Most important strategy setting? Post by: HornetsGM on September 15, 2005, 04:51:59 PM It seems to me like pace is the most important, but have you guys seen real differences with the other settings, particularly trap and press?

I did last year, actually. While on often for both,I did notice that opposing PG's seem to shoot a higher percentage. I am guessing the settings also caused a higher number of opponent to's, but I did not check that. Title: Most important strategy setting? Post by: SpursGM-old on September 15, 2005, 04:57:13 PM I played a lot with the settings the first two seasons. With press it depends on the quickness of your players which you can only judge by trial & error. If opposing teams can beat the press (becuase you aren't very good at it) then they score easily....evidence is higher scoring & fg% by your opponents.
Trapping can hurt if you are using several undersized or slow players. It seems to work best for teams with both quickness & length. |
