Title: Backup PF Post by: HornetsGM on September 13, 2005, 07:06:59 PM I am interested in acquiring a backup PF (or possibly C). The PF does not need to score, but should have at least a B+ defense, preferably A-.
The following are available. The players with "*" next to their names are subject to the 60 day rule (they can be traded after the AS break) *Bradley Bee SF 26 6'8'' 230 C+ C+ B C+ C B $5,400,000 Alvin Zollner SG 19 6'0'' 214 D+ B C A- D+ C $2,340,008 *Matt Harpring SF 31 6'7'' 231 B C C- B- C C Linton Johnson SF 27 6'8'' 205 C+ C- D A- C+ D $684,679 (three bird yrs) Christian Daniels PF 21 6'10'' 247 C+ C+ C C C B Hornets 2012 1st Numerous second rounders Thanks Title: Backup PF Post by: KingsGM-old on September 13, 2005, 07:13:51 PM I think Stepania is the right guy for you! :)
Title: Backup PF Post by: RaptorsGM on September 13, 2005, 08:30:41 PM Wright or Rasho.

Raps: Slight interest in Wright, but salaries would have to wait til after AS break. Knicks: Same as Wright ... I can't trade the major chunk of salary (Bee) with someone else until day 61. Magic: Interested in Woods ... I will PM 6ers: See Raps and Knicks Thanks all for your interest. Title: Backup PF Post by: HornetsGM on September 14, 2005, 01:00:58 PM I don't see how without including people who aren't on that list. I am not that interested in Wright.
Title: Backup PF Post by: Anonymous on September 14, 2005, 03:34:38 PM I have no problem with waiting until Day 61
Title: Backup PF Post by: CelticsGM on September 14, 2005, 03:56:44 PM Check Jorge Strong. His ratings (C+ C C B C C) may not suggest but given time he produced - like in his rookie season (10ppg/6rpg/1.2bpg) where he even started.
Plus he'll come cheap (Zollner?), shoots a nice percentage, even from three point land, and doesn't turn the ball over. Also, he produces good numbers for his abilities. He's not Woods, Nazr or Wright, sure ... because he makes just 2.2mio. But expect the same output like those veterans, just with better percentages. And - similar to the Suns Lo - he overperformed nicely ... btw, will be big fun to see a 7"2' guy defending the young & mobile PFs of this league  Title: Backup PF Post by: HornetsGM on September 14, 2005, 06:21:17 PM Quote from: CelticsGM Quote from: HornetsGM haha, well, he's as good as some of the guys people offered me. But I gotta do the lobbying for my own guys, since it's ME who knows their skills and value best ...
