Title: Pacific Division Power Ranking through Sim 2 Post by: GoldenStateGM on September 09, 2005, 02:10:58 PM 1.Los Angeles Clippers – By far the dominant team in the division. Outscoring opponents by 11 ppg. Clippers right now are looking Finals bound.
2.Phoenix Suns – a team of unpredictability right now. Currently 2-5 at home, and 8-3 on the road. But the PF/C combo of Shaq and Magloire is playing quite well right now, and Brent Barry is a perfect fit next to Hav. 3.Portland Trailblazers – only last years history keeps them from the number 2 spot. Last year, they also burst out of the gate, leading the division for the first 2 sims. Shooting an incredible 48% from the field. If they can keep up that shooting, Conference Finals are in sight. Sebastian Telfair has just been incredible this year, possible MIP candidate. 4.Seattle Supersonics – outscoring opponents by 5 ppg, but currently 7-7. Nowitzki and English are an incredible scoring combination. A little more consistency, and the Sonics will be well above the .500 mark. 5.Sacramento Kings – team is being held back by Tracy McGrady. He needs to shoot better then 38% to lead the Kings. When he does, the kings will ba right back to normal. 6.Golden State Warriors – Araujo has not recovered from his injury quite yet, hitting only 39% from the field so far. Injuries to Pierce and Hinrich have held the team back. Once Araujo returns to form, the Warriors will improve. 7.Los Angeles Lakers – Lakers are looking lotter bound again. Unless Wade and Stephen Jackson really pick up their games, it will be the same old spot for the Lakers.
