Oh, sure, in this instance both teams only had their own 2nd round pick. But there are lots of times where teams have multiple picks. I want people to get in the habit of specifying the team, because there are times when people have multiple picks and don't specify team. It says: Magic sends: 2012 2nd rounder That means the magic send a 2012 2nd rounder. If they have 2 picks, that's ambiguous. It should say: Magic sends: Magic 2012 2nd rounder in other words: [team] [year] 2nd round pick. When something is listed under a heading (Magic:), it lists what the magic are trading. Therefore, it just says that the magic are trading a 2nd rounder. Magic: 2012 2nd rounder is not the same as Magic: Magic 2012 2nd rounder. The first one says the magic are trading a 2012 2nd rounder (team unspecified) The 2nd one says the magic are trading their own 2nd round draft pick. I should never have to go to a roster page or the draft order page (for those people who think listing the pick # is relevant) in order to process a trade. That's why it must be specified. If it's listed the way it is, I have to go to the rosters page to see if each team has any other picks that fit the conditions.
