Title: Top 10 Players
Post by: KingsGM-old on August 07, 2005, 04:15:53 AM
1. Yao Ming - A inside, A defense, A- rebounds. 33ppg, 14rpg, 3bpg. Shooting 52% from the floor. Enough said.

2. Tim Duncan - A inside, A+ defense, A- rebounds. 31ppg, 14rpg, 3bpg. Lack of team success cost him number 1 spot.

3. Kevin Garnett - A- inside, B- handle, A+ defense, A- rebs. 27ppg, 12rpg, 5apg. He came to earth this season but still good enough for the 3rd best player in the league.

4. Jermaine O'Neal - A inside, A defense, B rebounds. 27ppg, 11rpg, 3bpg. Awesome overall game and one of the main reasons why the Pacers are in the title hunt every year.

5. Amare Stoudamire - A- inside, A defence, B rebs. 28ppg, 12rpg and 2 bpg. Just a monster on both ends of the floor and my personal favorite.

6. Shawn Marion - B inside, A- outside, A defence, B rebounds. 28ppg, 9rpg, 2spg. He's all over the court and the oppossite players don't have a good time against him.

7. Jason Kidd - A- outside, A+ handle, A+ defence. 20ppg, 6rpg, 9apg, 2.5spg, 43% from the arc. Triple double machine and on of the bst defenders in the game.

8. Emeka Okafor - AAAAA like forever....19ppg, 14rpg, 3bpg. Maybe the best defender in the game and can also create his own shot.

9. Tracy Mcgrady - A - outside, B + inside, B- handle, A- defence. 27ppg, 6rpg, 5apg. Can do it all. Score, defend, pass, rebound. Everything.

10. Dirk Nowitzki - A- inside, B+ outside, A defence. 24ppg, 9rpg, almost 2 blocks and steals per game. Carrying Dallas to another stellar season.

* Note * Defensive aspect as well as # of TO's were just important as any category in this rankings. So i had to left out the likes of Pettit (almost 4tpg), Araujo (B+ defense, 0.7bpg) etc.

Honorable mentions - Garrett Pettit, Rafael Araujo, Andrei Kirilenko, Vince Carter, Elton Brand, Shaquille O'Neal, Paul Pierce...

Out of the top 10 guys, only Emeka and TD still got good potentials. Emeka with A potential and TD with B potential.

Well i haven't payed attention to potential. I'm not talking about future. My list is only about present.

I am aware that Kidd should be in the top 5, IMO.

he's got an A-, A+,A+ ratings to prove it.

kidd isn´t better than the players mentioned before him. i think the fact that he is rated higher than any other guard should be enough.

i think this is a great list and well done.

Well I don't you're going to get TD higher than he is anyway.
