This is goin to be ugly for me, Pierce and Griffin are out for 4 more days, but luckily I only have 3 games over that period of time (Raptors, Hornets, Sixers)

Hopefully I can go 2-3, or ideally steal one from the Sixers and go 3-2

I really want to avenge my 2 1 point losses to you. I don't care if your best players are out, I like to win cheap.

Facing Grizzlies, Bucks, Pistons, Raptors, Warriors and Wolves.

Tough games all and real test for my team.

Hoping for 4 - 2 or 5 - 1. It's time to get up in standings.

My first sim, i play 8 games and 7 of da teams are over .500   >.<   Hope i do well.

This sim is going to be ugly. 7 games, 4 of them going against Nets, Raptors, Mavs, and Clippers. The other three are Knicks, Suns, and Wizards. I'll be very happy if I can beat any one of those top 4. And if I can go better than 3-4, I'll be thrilled.

3 away vs. Sonics, Bucks, and Grizzlies.

A realistic optimist could hope for 6-2...
Would be pretty happy ith 5-3.

Cannot wait to see how the Yao/Araujo matchup goes.  Yao is much better defensively, but Araujo is the only other center in the league that can keep up with Yao offensively...  Here's to foul trouble for Yao   :cheers:

Fear the Tractor

Somehow, Andre has been great so far as a non-option. He's averaged 17 points per game on 47% shooting. I'm trying him out as my 2nd option now, and maybe this will boost his assist numbers.

I tried to run sim 5 now, and when I got to day 42 (2nd day of the sim), i got runtime 9 errors.  tried simming it 4 times, got an error on that day every time.

I'll try it on my desktop when I get hime.

I have backups of before and after every sim we've ever had, yes.

it just means i'm going to have to re-enter cuts/signings, positional changes and depth charts.

AHHH, my first sim is taking forever.  The suspense is killin me.

7-2, Emeka and Chauncey look like they had tremendous sims.  Emeka is now tied for the league lead in both rebounding and shotblocking.

due to foul trouble Emeka only played 18 minutes in a 5 pt loss to the raptors :(

6-2, and now with the fifth (tied with Orlando) best record in the entire league.

Lost to Toronto (big surprise) and Golden State.

Beat the Spurs (twice), Suns, Blazers, Lakers and Hornets.

First sim.... 2-6.... :-\   ouch, amare a monster.

Damn, this was ugly. Just as I thought it would be. A 2-5 sim. I end up killing the Clippers, but getting beat by the Knicks. The Knicks! And I also get destroyed by Phoenix. Just a very bad sim overall.

Actually, 2 of my 8 wins are against you. Don't feel as bad about this Sim though - somehow I managed to go 3-3 and beat Portland and the 76ers as well.

Went 1-4, meh what are you gonna do.  Didn't have Griff or Pierce vs the Raptors, Hornets, Sixers.  Lost by 2 to the Sixers and by 7 to the Bucks.

Just praying for an injury free season from here on out

A 2-4 sim.  Everyone played pretty poorly.  AI had his most consistent scoring game as a Hawk, but only have one big game with 35.  Drobnjak played really well also, I'm hoping Scot Pollard and he can do well as a tandem down low.  Gadz also played ok but not great.

Thats weird, I guess Pierce got injured again during the sim because he didn't play a single game

Another horrible sim here, 2-4.  On a positive I did manage to get a win over the nets at least.

I didn't have Griffin on my DC either, he played.  I never put injured players on my DC's, but they always play after they're injury is over.

I assume the sim knows to put them back in, maybe I should start outting them in when they're injured anyways

I changed the pace to slow, the defense showed some semblance of actually existing, and the result is a surprising 6-2 sim that puts me near 500 and in the 8 spot.  

And to think my 2009 first round pick was being auctioned off as a Top 5 pick  :wink:

It was also nice to win a road game for the first time this season, let alone going 3-1 on the road with a 1 point win against the Kings topping it off :D

The sim doesn't know who your starters are and doesn't automatically insert them.  It will tend to give more talented players time, but it will start who you tell it to start.  If that's not paul pierce, then it listens.

Decent sim, 6-2.

Now with a 6 game lead in the East.

Problem is, Yao is out 4 games. The injury bug is biting.

Peja sets a new SSBA record against the Nets with 16 3PA. He only made 6, but oh well.

Tanner went down for 20+ days(too lazy to count) , but it is good sim for me.
I've won 12 out of the last 14 games.

Wow, on an unrelated topic, I just watched a 5 hour, 18 inning baseball game between the Jays and the Angels. The Jays won :)

This team is starting to get hot. Only 4 - 2 but 2 of my loses was against the Bucks  :shock:  and Raptors. Both lost by 1!! Damn.

Won vs Wolves, Grizzlies, Pistons and Warriors. Not a easy bunch.

My God, Marion scores 31, Shaq has his 2nd career triple-double, and AI scores only 12 points in a home LOSS to the Hawks... I can't pick an emoticon that adequately translates my emotion, but this is close:   :shock:  :evil:  :bs:  :cry:  :|

my sim didn't go too well.  lost the first four before rebounding to take the last 3.  I think the fact that I only have one frontcourt starter is starting to catch up, especially after the results from the Nets and Hornets games.

After that 1-6 desaster last sim I'm looking at better times again. 4-3 with two close losses to Pacers and Nuggets. My second winning sim in three after failing to complete this task all of last season.

Lots of home games and none of the top teams involved so I know I'm still some steps away from real contention, but I feel I'm on the right track.

Jefferson is for real, so much is clear. He does it on both ends of the floor now. Radman has a tough time currently but still is the veteran leader for my team. The rest of the guys is still looking for any type of consistency, but that may be because of my rotation, too.

So I'll try something new and keep my lineup for another sim (which I haven't done before, ever...)  :shock:

I have no idea under which legislations weed is considered a drug but I know one thing for sure:
