Since players can't technically be signed until after training camp, he has 24 hours from training camp to complete the trade.

I agree. I lose out (a bit) on talent but for the first time in the history of the Knicks franchise they will have cap space at the end of this season (only a couple million, but still :D ) and in 2 seasons I will have tons of cap room. Francis is also a capable replacement for Marbury for the interim.

This draft class looks strong as well, time to start the rebuilding process.

(Oh, and to make this work I have cut LaDon Drew - posted in the cut forum)

Big trade for the Kings after a subpar TC. Very nice to trade a bunch of role players for a more legitimate PG who is also a star and has a 54 point game under his belt (then again he was playing for the knicks no offense, but his stats are probably padded a little)

Knicks, thanks man on this looong and complicated trade.

And although i have probably the best backourts in the league now, it doesn't matter. It's all been a fools gold. TC smashed any hope for this team...

Yeah, lol this trade took like 2 weeks and 5 signings to complete. Nice doing business with you. I hope that Marbury works out.

Dude, shutup.  Seriously.  Don't complain in every thread.

RaptorsGM whined and moaned last year at tc.  tc means nothing.

Dude I probably had a worse TC then you last year, and had a great one this year.  Things turn around, use 1 or 2 posts to complain, don't do it in every thread

BTW, I like the trade for the Kings.  Marbury, despite average ratings, has overachieved for years, and is certainly an upgrade.  And the Knicks...well, they weren't winning anyway.

It's good for both teams, the Knicks aren't going to win anytime soon (not with that roster, but they will have huge cap space when the Pettit/Mercer/Ferry etc class hits the FA market.  Definetely on the right path of rebuilding
