Title: FA resign offers Post by: CelticsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:26:46 AM I read we were supposed to receive the FA resign offers yesterday as the playoffs started. Now will this be an extended delay until after the finals or just a matter of hours ... ?
 Can't wait to tell Darko to sail off into the sunset - and learn that "$$ are earned here" - if he commands more than last time ... Title: FA resign offers Post by: Keith on June 27, 2005, 06:56:46 AM He said the FA offers will be coming out Monday. It'll be out sometime today.
Title: FA resign offers Post by: CelticsGM on June 27, 2005, 07:02:36 AM Quote from: WolvesGM You read wrong. I said the FA offers will be coming out Monday. It'll be out sometime today. ok & thanx. Since thats the only suspense left for me, I'll then wait 24 more hours for the one thing that makes or brakes my season ... Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 11:46:26 AM Alright, I have compiled all the offers and put them online. If you have the link I sent you last offseason, that will work. If not, I will be pm'ing you the links throughout the day.
Title: FA resign offers Post by: OldNuggetsGM on June 27, 2005, 12:15:51 PM When do we need to make a decision on these by?
Title: FA resign offers Post by: CavsGM on June 27, 2005, 12:18:39 PM I'm gonna need some time to decide on mine. It's a very tough decision, whether or not to re-sign Fred Hoiberg. It could make or break the future of the Cleveland Cavaliers....
Title: FA resign offers Post by: GoldenStateGM on June 27, 2005, 01:18:36 PM The suspense....
My win rating droped like a rock, from 52 down to 37... Luckily, Hinrich has a loyalty of 88, greed of 33, and play for a winner only 15... Hoping he offers me a contract... Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:18:21 PM Nuggets: in by the end of the playoffs.
Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:19:57 PM Alright, all the offers should be out. If you haven't received your PM (or if the link doesn't work), let me know.
GoldenState: haha. Sorry for the wait. I was at work, sent out EVERYONE ELSE, but then had to run off before I sent yours. Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 03:22:35 PM Bods man PLEASE TELL ME IT'S NOT THE TRUTH THAT NO ONE WANTS TO RESIGN FOR MY TEAM!!!!!???
Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:37:30 PM The list I sent you is correct.
Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 03:39:46 PM you want to say that none of my 7 (!!!) FA's want to resign for me??
no, no, no, this is wrong man, this is disaster, i can't belive this is hapenning. is there any way i can resign them? Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:42:24 PM Jesus christ, what is this, your first offseason?
You've been here before. You know how the free agency period works. And yes, it's a catastrophe that none of your scrub players, none of whom play more than 20 minutes/night, want to re-sign. Terrible. Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 03:44:51 PM yes it is terrible if they are priceless filler in very very important trade!
Title: FA resign offers Post by: CavsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:45:05 PM Quote from: KingsGM you want to say that none of my 7 (!!!) You have been here since the beginning, yet you still ask question after freaking question that makes it seem like you're new here...All seven of your free agents cannot be re-signed now, either due to having been signed for the minimum, LLE, or MLE. Thus, it's impossible for any of your free agents to even make you an offer... Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 03:55:39 PM you want to say i can't resign my minimum and LLE players and then trade them? why??
Title: FA resign offers Post by: CavsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:57:34 PM They don't have bird rights! You can't re-sign them if you don't have bird rights to them, meaning 3 or more bird years. You are only able to sign them later on, when free agency comes around, and that can only be for 120% of the previous season's salary. Damn, you should seriously know all of this stuff. This is ridiculous...
Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 03:58:50 PM so if i sign them later as you say, can i trade them then?
Title: FA resign offers Post by: CavsGM on June 27, 2005, 03:59:53 PM Yes! Within 24 hours...
Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 04:00:13 PM Well, to be fair, I don't have anything up on the rules page stating players without 3+ bird years won't offer extensions. It's true, but it's not up there.
Not that KingsGM probably looked at the rules page, however. Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 04:00:32 PM oh, thank god
Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 04:04:30 PM i was just hoping some of my FA's (minimum and LLE guys) would have demanded extensions like Darius Songalia (who i signed as minimum) to some short terms so all combine they'd be so badly needed filler.
you all probably think i'm overreacting on this, but trust me, the whole Kings next season is on the line over this! Well first of all, in the SSBA there is no such thing as a contract extension, when the player is still under contract. And secondly, now you know that minimum guys cannot be re-signed during the initial re-signing period, which is now. Title: FA resign offers Post by: KingsGM-old on June 27, 2005, 04:17:55 PM i don't get it. how did i resign Darius Songalia, who was also minimum player, he wanted 3 year deal for something like 4 million and i accepted. can you explain that?

And the link is broken... You must be just teasing me... Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 04:53:34 PM Try again goldenstate.
Title: FA resign offers Post by: GoldenStateGM on June 27, 2005, 04:55:06 PM Ah, but the suspense was all worth it...
Kirk Hinrich is mine, all... Signed to a nice big 6 year max contract... And well worth it, imo, since I feel he is a top 5 pg in the league... Title: FA resign offers Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2005, 05:07:30 PM Yeah, he was one of the ones I was hoping would fly a little bit under the radar.
Title: FA resign offers Post by: GoldenStateGM on June 27, 2005, 06:22:53 PM Quote from: NetsGM Yeah, he was one of the ones I was hoping would fly a little bit under the radar. Wow... He, Chauncey, and Petit would have been unstoppable... Title: FA resign offers Post by: RaptorsGM on June 27, 2005, 06:23:13 PM I have 2 tough choices to make on my 2 top FAs.
Title: FA resign offers Post by: CelticsGM on June 27, 2005, 06:39:55 PM Quote from: RaptorsGM I have 2 tough choices to make on my 2 top FAs. I can only guess what Chris and Peja command, but in the best case you'll only have a tad more than the LLE available for FA. And my actual assumption is worse ... Well, that's the price of still playing in "Virtual May" ... 8) Title: FA resign offers Post by: Str8westcoasta on June 27, 2005, 07:41:48 PM WOW!
Charlie Ward is one cheap ass mofo! 1 year 1 mil... Michael Finley however, is the anti-Ward!!! Chris Mihm will be wearing the purple for the next 5 years, at a total cost of $46,003,896. Peja will be returning for 6 years at a total cost of $82,125,000. And WHOA, almost forgot. Mo Taylor is back for a year, 9.1 mil  Title: FA resign offers Post by: HornetsGM on June 28, 2005, 07:20:48 AM Jerome James is my man, 5 mil for 2 years.
