Is everyone aware that the trade deadline is today?

I expected to see more moves than this :)

Im so looking for a trade right now, but i still havent see how my guys would play with terpening added to my roster.

I could use a Tim Duncan or an Allen Iverson on my roster :)

I'm trying to ignore the deadline.  Sometimes I get tempted with offers, but I don't want to mess up what I have right now.

Chances are I'll be smart enough to hold onto this team (wouldn't that be something, RapsGM going a full season without making a deal)

I've been trying to get a few deals done, but I'm on my lunch break right now and I get off at 4 so by the time I get home I won't have too much time finalize any deals, so if you want Allan Houstons 22ppg and 20 MILLION expiring, be on at 4 and we can talk

I hate to be the one to ask, but is there Any chance we can get a small extension on the trade deadline???  Like maybe a couple of hours???

I assume that the deadline will be whenever Bods sims, so if he's going to sim at 5 the deadline will be at 5.

On that note, when do you expect to run the sim Nets?

No deadline deals for the Cavs, that's for sure. More then enough trades were made through the season up till now... :D

Kings still hasn't accepted his trade with the Pistons, and I PM'd him to remind him.

I try to contact him getting it done.

It seems, some guys are waiting on the RocketsGM - mysteriously unavailable - and his decisions, though.

These are very unfortunate things happening here. I had accepted the Webber/Francis trade on behalf of the Kings but this was supposed to be just the first part of something ...

... but all other parties involved didn't show up.

The only reason this deal has been accepted is a confirmation PM from the KingsGM to the PistonsGM (like to the other parties). Too bad just this (first) trade was actually posted !!!

Well, then Kings shouldn't have accepted that trade.

No sim until midnight (or the final trade is accepted, whichever comes first)

Why not just cancel the orignal trade and run the sim?

Not all that fair to give them so much time to work something out that they should have had worked out a long time ago.

This might be an option but PistonsGM would have to accept it as well (and he announced he'd be gone from shortly BEFORE the deadline at 5pm).

So I think waiting until midnight is a very FAIR chance to get the original plan done.

Well, right now where the Kings live it's late at night, and in 4 hours it will still be the middle of the night, so it's very unlikely that the Kings come back on.

So really, we're gonna have to delay the entire sim a day, which, IMO makes it fairly unrealistic. IMO a sim should try to copy the business which is the NBA (without the lockout, of course :) )

And in the NBA, games don't get delayed because of trade talks that are now 2.5 hours past the deadline.

But Bods, I understand the position you are in, and I have no problem living with whatever decision you make.

Nobody also plays 10 games in 1 day, either raptorsgm.

and deals are sometimes allowed to go past the deadline as well.

it doesn't affect anyone else.  the games will still be played.  it won't kill you to wait until tomorrow.

and it would be unfair to the pistons to cancel the trade.

I really think that the simulation of day 90-100 has already been processed. however there might have been a problem with the server so the page was not updated.

I don't really see any point on dabods moving those trade deadline deals into the other board if the trade hasn't been processed.

Also to the fact that dabods, earlier on this thread, posted that he is already processing the details needed for the next sim.

However, I maybe wrong but I doubt it.

I would guess that you are wrong. He processed those trades LONG before he said that the sim would be delayed.

Unfortunatly, I do not think days 90-100 have been simmed.

Day 90 was simmed last thursday ;)

I meant to sim last night around 12:30.  But, when you get old and you have to wake up for work at 6 am, sometimes you fall asleep ;)

So will the sim happen now or later in the evening ?
And will trades / lineup changes / position changes / cuts / signings be allowed until then ???
