I'm looking for my first unbeaten sim of the year.

vs. Blazers (18-31) {1-0}

5 teams way below .500. Curly brackets are my records against these teams so far this year.

two losses in two games coming up, but then Shaq is back  :D

and before y'all laugh, with only 3 road games among 8 and just 2 winning teams on the schedule this might be as good a chance as I get for the rest of the season.

So let's see if Kaman and Ratliff inspire my squad to new defensive heights, if Barrys departure finally leads to the young ones stepping up and if the only broken skulls will be from the demons falling off my back ...  :twisted:

Well, hoping I can get back up to .500 by the end of the season, but it is going to be really tough.
6 games this sim, 4 at home.  Hoping for a 5-1 sim, can live with 4-2.  Any worse, and my dreams of 0.500 ball are pretty much over.

Wonder if Araujo can maintain the 31 ppg average he has had in his time in Golden State so far???

Play Hawks, @Hornets, Sonics, Suns, Bulls, Rockets.

Only one really tough team, and only one road game.  With the way my team's playing, expecting 5-1.

Hopefully, my team would do better with a new set of guys.

this is a really really tough 8 game sim, it includes only 3 non-playoff teams in the Suns, Cavs and Celtics and includes games against the likes of the Nets, Raptors, T'Wolves and Wizards just to name 4 of the tougher opponents...i'm hoping for a 4-4 sim but realistically i see 3-5 or 2-6

I'm hoping to get to 500 for the year, playde well last sim without Pierce, went 4-3 with some very close losses.  Was very close to going 6-1, as Griffin continues his amazing play at SF.

I'm honestly beginning to think Griffin might be a natural SF beneath the ratings, he's played some of the best ball in his young career over these past 2 sims.  I should probably calculate opp SF FG% against him, but am too lazy

Excited to see how the team performs after the trade for Barry. Only playing five games, though. Hawks, Celtics(killed by them last time...), Grizz, and Knicks twice. Expecting a 3-2...

My team went 9-1 in last ten games. I was obviously expecting the worst..

10 game winning streak.  Back to first in Atlantic, 3rd best record in the league, back to best opp ppg and opp fg%

Look at the damn Nets's sim. Here I go 8-2 in my last ten and lose 2 games on them.

My sim went well, except for an inexcusable loss to the Hawks. Houston burnt us, and we decided to shoot 33% and score 75 points. Damn, what a bad game.

Won the other 4. Ruined many of the teams, just like expected. Yao went to the line 24 times against the Blazers.

Just a good sim all around. Still with a 7 game lead over the Nets. Hard to believe I'm at 49 wins already.

Kings lost Radman for a significant amount of time.

Looks like that draft pick could be pretty good.

Little bit of fools gold though.  Look at my opponents.

Wow after 30 days without Pierce, I would have never expected to be at .500, I couldn't have asked for more from my team.  Traylor stepped up big, as did Griffin.  Pierce will be a welcomed addition back into my lineup, he'll take over at SF again, and hopefuly Griffin can continue his awesome play at C.  Now if only Mercer could keep those turnovers down...

4-3, and still in contention.

I tried a new lineup, and I went small, with Dickau manning the PF spot.  He did ok, and I saw my offensive numbers jump.  However, if I am to get into the playoffs, I need Joe Smith to start there.

Kundla is driving me crazy.  He has great games, then goes in the tank for a few.  I can't wait to see how he improves in the next TC.

last sim i started artest at pg.
stats: 23ppg,4rbpg,10asspg,3stls and.....4TOpg
my team had the spirit of the real mavs.
great offense no defense.
i avg. over 113pts but could only win 3 out of 5
JO really liked the new lineup with avg. of 30pts and 12 rbs

in the next sim we will see a lot of more defense.

jamison is out for the rest of th season, so carmelo will move back to the backup position. i am really glad i do have now some depth here  :D

Also congrats to ratliff for breaking the SSBA record in steals. Never thought this man could be such a defender.

The last 2 sims, against half decent defensive teams, my team shoots 47% from the field.
This sim, against teams who are not nearly as good defensively, my team shoots 39% from the field.  I only had three players that shot above 40% this sim.. 3  That is just ridiculous.

The wait goes on an I consider this a GREAT OPPORTUNITY wasted ...
the expected loss to the Indy guys with RonRon at the steering wheel no less (guess getting outrebounded by 24 isn't cutting it ... and then getting shown by Brent what he thinks of the trade (although he wasn't seen again after that 8 of 10 barrage on me)

My highest scoring game at 133-131, an OT victory no less, my non option PG jacking up 27 (!) shots (making 9) and my newly aquired SG setting the all-time SSBA record for steals in a game with 9 ... and to top that and giving my my 2nd win streak this season, the Big Apple was conquered in a breakout game for Baby Shaq.

So the damocles sword of that 9-73 season finally is history, a 3-6 record something I don't cry about and ...

Well, I think I've found my settings.

Team: 96.2 ppg, 46.7% shooting, 51.9% 3pt.  26.6 assists/14 turnovers.  +10 rebounds per game.  +11 fta's/game.

Opposition: 80.1 ppg, 39.1% shooting, 31.6% 3, -10 rebounds/game, -11 fta's/game.

With an inside focus okafor has been outstanding.  24.6 ppg, 12 rpg, 3 bpg, 46.2% fg.

Pettit hasnt' gone down either.  26.9 ppg, 4.9 apg, 1.43 spg, 51.8% shooting, 61.3% from 3, 93.1% from the line.  He's been incredible from 3 since I changed my focus to inside.  Guess collapsing the paint is really leaving him open.

Billups once again dished out 11 apg.  His fga's have gone down, but still hitting 46% of his shots.  Dalembert was incredible (13.2 ppg, 14.6 rpg, 3.9 bpg, 49.3% shooting, 72% from the line).

On a 9-1 spree with a lineup that devean george, curran, meyers, nor murray were involved in. Kirilenko hinted at a quadruple double with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 7 steals and an added 3 blocks against the Knicks. I also added a win against the Mavs and moved into 4th in the West.
