With my preference towards Beardslee for minutes, Devean George was expendable. After this year, I would have no backup SG and I would have a hole inside even when Booth most likely resigns. Curran, 13th pick in the draft, and Meyers also a former 13th round pick were both prospects that I had wanted before in the draft and now happily welcome home (Meyers hometown = Jazz). Curran has put up a 6 block performance and also pulled down 16 boards earlier this year. Meyers' B potential was also a very welcomed attribute as long as he doesn't join the likes of Tsakalidas, etc. This fills two holes which gives me some flexibility to go for best available with my 2 first round picks.

I lose two solid young guys, but gain a very good veteran. George has great ratings and shoots the ball well. I will likely start him at SF and move Odom over to PF. After this and the Barry deal go through, I feel that I will have a great starting lineup along with nice depth. It will probably be too late to make the playoffs this season, but the Cavs have a bright next year. The starters will still be able to play at the same level, and some good rookies will be added.

The Cavs now have an amazing amount of offensive firepower in their starting lineup.  George's outside shooting should help alot, especially next to Barry.

Curran is a nice back-up, with his great shotblocking.  Meyers is a very good shooter, no idea why he has not shown it this year.

I needed outside shooting, with efficiency too. George and Barry certainly provide that, so I'm happy.

That's pretty good, this starting five is even capable to make the playoffs even this year, regardless of your current record. But the age is the only cavs problem now as i can see. most of this guys are in 30's...

I'm not too worried. It's only Z that's 30 and Barry is 33. Barry should still have at least two more seasons playing at this level. Players don't retire this early, I don't think. And Z is not so old at all, he'll be fine.
