Did you offer the MLE to Yao and Shaq dude? That's just unnecessary if you did, especially after the commish explicitly said not to do that... So give me one other good reason why there should be a limit! Right, none. In fact, I believe that offering 20 guys the MLE is only a bad thing for the guy who is making the offers. See KingsGM sent in 20 MLE offers and got Bobby Jackson with it. He is not terrible, but I think you could do better with that MLE. But by sending in 20 MLE's, the worst player of those 20 could sign right away. There is no order in offering those 20 guys a contract. He could have offered only MLE to the best 8 players from that list, and someone might have accepted. |
