Title: Awards
Post by: KnicksGM on July 31, 2010, 09:55:39 AM
i understand how Blake doesn't win ROY, what i dont understand is how he didnt make the 1st team.

PF 1st Rookie team:
Taj Gibson 11.3 ppg 9.8 rpg
compared to
Blake Griffin 19.2 ppg 11.8 rpg

what the F*** !

Paul was 1st team all league, but Strickland was MVP?
Nice to see Abdul-Rauf get 2nd team, and Quigley 6th man

I just got a feeling that Tom Chamberlain is SSBA's perimeter version of Zach Randolph. Cause there is no way that a guy leads the league in scoring (30ppg) with good percentages and not be in any of these awards nor make it to the all-star team.

I also got a couple of guys who I think deserve to make the all-defensive team that didn't. (Trey Wooten and Chuck Murray)

Anyway, I think Rod Strickland has got the HOF award covered with two time regular season MVPs, all-star games and triple doubles under his belt.
