I'll put him to your roster with the LLE signing. Sorry about this. No team offered him a contract for day 5 anyway. Title: Re: SSBA 2033 FA Day 5 [UP NOW] Post by: MagicGM on March 13, 2010, 09:55:34 PM shoot. I might not have saved it after I entered half of the bids for Day 5.
I'll re-do it as soon as I get back. Title: Re: SSBA 2033 FA Day 5 [UP NOW] Post by: MagicGM on March 14, 2010, 10:35:21 AM shoot. I might not have saved it after I entered half of the bids for Day 5. Problem here is that I can't go back to the day 5 because the post-TC ratings will change. Here's what I'll do, the players who signed for the minimum but were offered bigger contracts, will get the player. I will look at the day 5 lists to see the signing. I'm totally sorry about this. I'll re-do it as soon as I get back. Title: Re: SSBA 2033 FA Day 5 [UP NOW] Post by: HawksGM on March 15, 2010, 12:22:39 PM I don't think this is a viable option, I haven't looked enough at the players and the teams that they signed with, but factors other than money play a role in the decision. We have seen this many times, and we have not changed the outcome in the past. If you are sure that you didn't enter some bids then we should make this a discussion but if you entered the bids and they signed elsewhere, we move on with the league and leave the results the same.
In the Barkley case, the LLE is only 100,000 more than the minimum and Rockets have a win rating of 50 vs. 39 for the Wizards. It could simply mean that Barkley thinks he has a better shot to win the Houston. I just believe that we shouldn't mess with the results. Title: Re: SSBA 2033 FA Day 5 [UP NOW] Post by: WizardsGM on March 15, 2010, 06:32:53 PM The difference is, he believes he messed up on the bids, which WOULD play a role.

I agree on that note....and after checking on that, the teams that LLE bids that weren't entered on Barkley were Hawks (mine), Pistons and Wizards. Whats the plan of action now? Title: Re: SSBA 2033 FA Day 5 [UP NOW] Post by: MagicGM on March 16, 2010, 07:55:08 PM Whoops. I wasn't able to check the board for like 3 days coz of school stuffs.
Anyway, the decision remains the same, looking at it, its Pistons and Wizards left because, your LLE was used by Spud Webb. What I'll do is see to it that the player who lands Barkley has the higher historic win rating. Title: Re: SSBA 2033 FA Day 5 [UP NOW] Post by: WizardsGM on March 16, 2010, 08:58:17 PM LOL Pistons slaughter me on that one, 71 to 39.
Either way its a fair way to do it, thanks for the hard work Magic. Sorry about it, I was looking at the list earlier and I realized that he also had offered Barkley the LLE. SO I guess going by win rating is more fair than handing him out to the first person who claims him. Either way its a fair way to do it, thanks for the hard work Magic. Again, I'd like to apologize for this, there were offers sent to my PM to so I wanted to input some of the offers in just so I don't forget about the PM'd offers.
