Title: Another Question
Post by: RaptorsGM on March 23, 2005, 08:53:25 PM
Man, I'm like a noobie.

Anyway, if I was to sign a player to a min contract, can I trade him right away, or does the 60 day rule apply?

Really? Damn, I thought we could do sign and trades. But only player-to-player, eh?

Only traded if he's the only outbound player.

Alright, I'll open up sign and trades to include multiple players.  But the player must be traded within 24 hours of the signing announcement.

In the NBA it's if the deal hasn't been done within 48 hours the contract is void.

Here it's if the deal isn't posted within 24 hours then you're stuck with the contract.

Would this rule only apply to players signed with the minimum, or any new players signed?

All players signed.
