Options:
- Start over from the start of the 2006 season
- Start from right before the free agent decisions, living with the decisions that not all the free agents will offer a contract even though they might have before.
- Start from the current NBA rosters

Complete restart with new rosters. This give the new commish a chance to make the league his own. This also eliminates any of this cheating crap that went on, and finally it gets us moving quickly and easily. In the meantime everyone should just join my sim  Laughing  kidding commish, please dont fire me  Confused

I also voted for a re-start, although tis obviously screws me, as look at the franchise I have right now.

raptors: you could pick a new team.  Although I'm guessing with your location you won't.

At least Vince is usually an FBB superstar.  Haven't checked bosh though.

2 problems with that.

1) It would take FOREVER.  We're talking 12 rounds.  It takes us forever to do 2.  And that's when we almost ignore the 2nd round.
2) Salary cap.  With the way it assigns players based on draft position, nobody's ever going to run into cap problems for at least 4-5 years.  It takes a certain element out of being a GM.

I understand. We could maybe cure the first problem with having a live draft, but there is no way around the second.

Ah, hell, SSBA has gone for a dump.

well I am in the minority voting to start from the free agent decisions.
4 seasons down the tubes...  Rolling Eyes

From

2nd worst record in the league (and well over the cap)

Eric Dampier
Troy Murphy
Mike Dunleavy
J-Rich
Speedy Claxton

To

SSBA champs

Ben Wallace
Amare Stoudamire
Glenn Robinson
J-Rich
Jamal Crawford

i know how you feel man.  I inherited a 26 win team, took them to the conference finals and 50 wins.  the last week of the league was the busiest i've ever been.  This sucks, to be blunt.  That's why I made such an effort to get the file before confronting twan.

You inherited a team that had two top three picks in a row and millions in cap space...

Allow me to wallow in my own self pity.  Smile

Either way, I think you can take the league in a great direction; I appreciate all the work that you've put in and I'm pretty much looking forward to whatever we do with you as commish. Hopefully we can surpass SSBA 1.0

I will tell twan he ruined the league.

Yeah i agree...

I just had a team that have the potential to have a "twan-like" season. My team is the best in the league "talent-wise" and 2nd best in the league, statistically..

Anyway, if were going to restart this season. We better get better and active GMs...
