Spurs have enough cap room to absorb the difference.

Wow, spursgm, you've done a great job in turning one of the best teams in the league into one of the worst. And on top of that you're now going to trade a nice young prospect and a likely lotto pick away for KVH?

Sonics agree...I get a pick and Murray returns.

Now, all I have on my roster are Prince, Murray and Delfino.

spurs were not one of the best teams in the league before the season...in fact I think they only had 2 legit starters and their cap was filled.

im not sure signing keith to that contract is worth it, but the free agent market was turning into crap.

btw wiz, might not want to criticize everyone considering you seek my consultation on every move you make.

Very Happy

I was in a bad mood when I wrote that.

btw, saying I consult you on every trade I make is a gross exaggeration. I asked you what you thought of the first trade I made which was in the off-season before the season started and I might of asked you're advice on a trade offer I recieved shortly after that. From then on I haven't asked your advice on any of the various trades I've made nor have I even spoken to you through AIM in weeks.

I really didn't have cap space to compete in the FA market.   Not after signing all my draft picks.  In fact resigning all 3 of my FA make the last two second rounders I have worthless; my roster will be full.

I traded Murray who played the same position as my best player, Ginobili.  My 07 pick was worthless also as I will have 4 firsts from this year on my roster.  KVH fills a big need for a second scorer.  I figure I will get a top rookie with my #5 pick.  And 3 solid role players with the 3 picks I have in the late teens/early 20s.  Maybe one or two will develop maybe not.
